I waited a week to post this so I had a real review rather than an unboxing. Fantastic laptop! I'm not much of a gamer but I'm sure it would do great. I purchased this laptop to run advanced mapping software. ArcGIS Desktop runs like a dream compared to my work laptop, massive datasets load in a tenth of the time and it burns through advanced geoprosessing tasks. Very impressed and very happy with my purchase.

Not the best out of the box - plagued with issues

Should be fully functionable out of the box. I've lost bluetooth connectivity and Wifi connectivity multiple times. Tried to update drivers which didn't help. Computer went dark one time and would not wake. Will never buy this paperweight again.

We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience if you are experiencing issues with the laptop.
To resolve the issues you are experiencing with the laptop, please install all Windows update after completing the initial Windows setup successfully. This may take a longer time depending on the network traffic from the update server and the stability of your high-speed internet service. Also, the laptop will do several system reboot, black screen temporarily or restart during the update process. Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/. While accessing web applications, please check if the laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect WIFI connectivity, system speed and performance. For the bluetooth issue, please check if the Bluetooth was enable inside setting and the Bluetooth device is working properly.
