The screen is amazing with bright wonderful colors. Unfortunately the computer is horrible. After 8 months it crashed losing all data that hadn’t backed up. Was sent back to the company. They returned it quickly back up and running with none of my data and no explanation. After getting all of my programs loaded again in a matter of weeks it has already started to malfunction. Doesn’t want to come out of sleep mode. Have to do a hard shut down. Also makes some crazy crackling noice occasionally some kind of electronic interference or something.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This laptop is mostly fantastic. The screen, specs, build quality, and special features like the touchpad dial and webcam and mic blocking keys as well as the number pad lend themselves for my needs. However, the speakers sometimes make a crackling noise.

I've only had the laptop a couple weeks. Seems to do a very good job. It's very fast and boots up with in 30 seconds. The display is excellent! My one thought that would make it better is a different power supply. It's very big, heavy and makes a big difference when it's in my computer bag. My last Asus Laptop had a small transformer that plunged into the wall with just a light cord to the laptop, more like a power block. This one has a three prong plug with lots of cord to the transformer, which is very big and heavy. Then another cord from it to the laptop, which is very long also. Would really like to have the small transformer.

Very nice balance of power, performance, battery life, size and weight. Purchased this notebook a week ago to replace an aging XPS. The OLED screen is excellent. The trackpad works well. The keys have a nice feel for a laptop. Overall, a very nice package priced well below the XPS line which it replaced.

I bought this upgrade for my son who had an older ASUS. I own an ASUS myself and I convinced my brother to buy one. I have owned at least 25-30 Dell computers when I was working as a medical professional and I can assure you that this computer is superior in performance and price. The customer service is also responsible and considerate as I had a monitor glitch with my current laptop and it was addressed promptly and efficiently. My son's last ASUS served him for 7 years! That's remarkable from someone that buys a new computer every 3 years or so. There are many reasons to invest in this brand and, in my opinion, no reason to look elsewhere.

Very difficult to setup as the wifi doesn't work. I've tried everything and it's still not working. Thankfully, I purchased this laptop for our church so it can be hooked up to the internet with an ethernet cable. For that reason, I can only rate 3 stars. Other than that, it seems to be a good laptop for our media ministry and should be able to do what we need it to do. I still feel like my personal Asus ROG Strix is the better laptop, though.
