Fantastic Display

This is my first ultra-wide monitor, and I love it. It looks fantastic, and is very easy to assemble. Reason 1) for a non-five-star review is that 1) the stand, as huge as it is, still manages to wobble a bit. Nothing bad, and there's no danger of the monitor tipping under normal usage, but still, with a footprint as large as this stand, it would be nice if it was rock-solid.
Reason 2) is that there are two USB-C ports, but one is a pass-through. You cannot have two USB-C devices connected and switch between them, which is a bummer, as my job requires that I use two laptops, and it would be great to have them both connected and push a button on the monitor to switch between them. This is *not* a big deal, however, and firmly fits the mold of a "first world problem."

my first 49 inch monitor and i love it.
i did have similar issues as the first reviewer but i went ahead and initiated a return. i waited till i got the new one before returning my current one. the new one came within days, i turned it on and the screen had no defects, i set it up and returned the defective one. i did have to reach back out to the customer rep that helped me to get the price marked down to my original purchase price (again not an issue for me).
as for the overall product review, its great! i am using a m1 mbp and love how i just need one cable to power the mac. all my other peripherals (mouse, camera, mic) are connected to the various usb ports behind the monitor. i am using this mainly for productivity, looking at various vscode windows and its perfect for my needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A radiologist's dream monitor.

This has been my Radiology reading station for CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Plain Films and the brightness, the blacks and the convenience to see several series at same time has no price.I use it with a Mac Studio M1 Max Chipset.
I would recommend this to a friend!

BEWARE! Doesn't work with MAC

This could be great... if the product information was complete. USB C does not work for a Mac. My main reason for purchase was because Mac only supports a single monitor, but since this display does not support Mac over USB C I can not use any of the hub functions. I'm right back where I started with a hub for power and all my other USB things, and a USB C to DisplayPort cable to connect to this monitor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Monitor works well, and would get 5 stars except for one EXTREMELY annoying issue. Any time the pc goes to sleep when you wake it back up it give a nag screen because it doesn't like the resolution. And as far as I can tell there is no way to turn it off. I was looking at purchasing a lot of these for my work and I'm about ready to throw this one away because of that nag screen. I don't know who the genius at Samsung is that put that in there but he/she should look for another line of work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
