Works well for charging all electric vehicles with J1772 sockets at home. 48 A , 240V unit is best to speed up the rate of charge. If you have a Tesla, you can purchase an adapter to convert the J1772 plug to a Tesla plug from Lectron as well.

I bought the 48Amo Lectron V-Box a couple of months ago, when I ordered my 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV. Finally, the car arrived and so did my electrician, and the V-Box was installed yesterday. I plugged in my Bolt, turned the V-Box on and the juice started flowing, just like advertised! My car charged in a couple of hours, and my wife was very happy that my plan had worked flawlessly. Thanks, Lectron.

We bought this product at the end of 2023 and it has been absolutely marvelous. We haven’t had any troubles with the unit and we did the install ourselves in about 30 minutes. I recommend Lectron to everyone I know with an EV vehicle and will continue purchasing their products. This charging system was purchased for a 2024 Mercedes EQE SUV and charges at about 9.5 KW plugged in. I plan to hardwire for the 48V charge soeeeds but haven’t had a chance.

The coordination with our electrician and our V-BOX 48 Amp went very well. My installing the unit next to the NEMA 14-50 plug also was easy. I like the sturdy unit itself, the digital indication window, and frankly the very cool charging indication light that is in the shape of a “V.” It works well with our new Kia EV6 and the app from Kia as well. I don’t yet see where to add the photo I have taken but hopefully when I press “submit” it will let me do so. Thanks!
