I wouldn't waste my money again

I really had high hopes for this machine. I have to pre mop my floors before using it. the tedious cleaning after every use is frustrating, and heaven forbid you forget to do it right away... the smell is awful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Abby. It is important to clean empty and rinse the machine after use. Allow all the pieces to dry completely before reinstalling. You should not have to mop first or have odor issues. We're always here to help resolve any issues at support.bissell.com.

Multi functional and super portable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using the Bissell HF3. It was very portable and I used it to clean all surfaces in my hood including tiles and hardwood. I loved the function to use either the dry or wet options. The dry option functions like a vacuum for every day messes while the wet option gave me the ability to deep clean for tougher messes. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a multi surface cleaner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This is a game changer. I have a mix of hardwood, tile and laminate in my home and this works great on all surfaces. Mopping is very labor intensive and this makes cleaning a breeze. There are no streaks on the hardwood. The battery is long lasting and the self cleaning feature is amazing. It is easy to take apart for further cleaning and drying. The floors dried fast so I am comfortable that it will not damage my hardwood.

Great for hard floors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My house has a mixture of hardwood and carpeted floors. Our upstairs is all carpet and the full size vacuum lives there. For everything downstairs, we've traditionally used a mop and broom... until we got the Bissell HF3. This vac is great for everyday cleanups. We have 2 kids in grade school that leave trails of crumbs everywhere! The HF3 is light enough to pull out any time we need a quick cleanup after a meal or snack. The wet/dry option makes it really versatile and great for crumbs and when things get sticky. It's not too loud and it's portable enough to not have to make a judgement call on whether or not you want to go through the hassle of getting something out to clean a mess or just let the dog eat it up. I wouldn't say this is the best for a deep clean, but for everything in between, this is a great solution.

The cordless and compact design allows for storage and use on multiple floors of the home and offers extreme portability. Our wood and tile has b3en a struggle to find a product that allows for great cleaning but doesn't leave a large amount of water on surfaces. This product excels in that function. Battery life is solid and one charge can complete most rooms before requiring a recharge. Overall very pleased with this unit.

Doing this without the need to pull out two separate cleaning machines. It picks up dirt/hair really well and leaves a great finish after using the wet vac side of it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every week our family does a big house cleanup and so this involves both sweeping AND mopping. I was so glad to find this product because it can do both in a quick and efficient way. The included cleaning solution has a wonderful fresh scent and the unit picks up a good amount of dirt and debris. I just wish there was a better way to get into cracks and corners, and to tackle tougher jobs like deepset dirt, you'll need tougher tools. It's easy to handle which is great when you've got all ages pitching in to help. Overall, very happy with this appliance!
