Nice, but sometimes loses music control function

Venu sq2 is an outstanding device - except for 1 thing. It sometimes fails to control my music that is stored on my phone. And this is not a small issue for me. I use music on my phone to lead a group exercise class, and I can't always stop, unlock my phone, open the music app and start or stop my music. The Venu sq 2 usually will connect and perform this function, just as my vivoactive 4 did with similar success. The advantage the new device has is that it will log and score my sleep to let me know how poorly I slept!

I like the training programs. I downloaded all of my iTunes and I am able to use my AirPods and run without carrying my phone. Seems to be pretty accurate in tracking mileage. I like the data display.

Great tracker

I got this a month ago and am very pleased with it. I have worn a Garmin VivoSport for many years and it went out of production. I love the extra graphics and information it provides me. However, was disappointed it did not track stairs climbed (no altimeter built in). Overall great wearable.

Upgraded from a Vivoactive 3. Setup was easy. Impressed with the new to me features of the watch. Installed an IQ watch face. So far, battery has lasted at least a week before needing recharge..

I bought the Sq2 about a month ago and previously owned a Venu that was three years old. It is great looking and a wonderful way to monitor your steps and heart rate during the course of the day. I am a senior age 77 and awareness is essential. Also when you need to push a bit because you sat too long, it is ideal.
