Narrator is a woman but sounds like a man

The information in this Tonie is good but the narrator is supposed to be a woman but sounds like a man. Confusing for a 6 year old. Not sure if this was intentional or overlooked.

I can never recommend this

I can never recommend this product enough. My 3 year old plays with it all day and every new tonie she loves more and more! Can’t wait to see what more characters come out in the future and hope more science/learning based ones like the National Geographic ones as well! The best purchase I ever made!

We got the Nat Geo whale as a replacement for the marine life Tonie Blocks. Unfortunately it’s just not as good. While this Tonie does have a lot of great facts and information for kids who are ocean obsessed, the narration is unenthusiastic and heavy going and did not keep my child interested.

Awesome for the science kids!

My kiddos love programs like "Magic School Bus Rides Again" and "Story Bots" and even Octonauts. This is perfect for more in depth knowledge from those shows. We actually use it to listen to at bedtime. It's even taught me a couple things!

Fantastic for elementary ages

My first-grader is into facts and non-fiction and was thrilled to see the National Geographic name on a Tonie! The engaging conversational approach but all science-based info made it a great listen. The 6+ age recommendation for this one is probably accurate for most, as my preschooler didn't have the attention for it even though they enjoyed what they heard.
