My RCA 350 ft 8,000 BTu window air condition that comes in white and covers 350 square feet to cool and is also energy efficient which will save you overall cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With summer starting in our region, it is absolutely necessary to have some type of cooling equipment in our home. This RCA 800btu window air conditioner has well surpassed our expectations! The air conditioner was easy to install in our bedroom window! Blows out ice cold air cools down our room rather quickly. The unit also has several fan speeds and an adjustable thermostat. The included remote is a nice touch so we don’t have to get out of bed to turn it on and off and have it allows us to have all of the controls in the palm of our hand. The unit itself is much quieter than we expected and can watch tv at a comfortable volume level while the unit is on. We have not used the dehumidifier mode yet but we are glad it’s an option. I would absolutely recommend this ac unit to any one looking to cool down!

Perfect AC for my guest bedroom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for an air conditioner to help cool down my second floor guest bedroom that doesn't get good airflow and I've been very pleased by the performance of this RCA window AC. This unit is pretty heavy, roughly 50 lbs, but it doesn't seem heavier than other window ACs I've used. Installation was pretty straightforward and it fit into my sash window without much trouble. It makes a nice tight seal against the sides and jamb. It definitely does a great job cooling off my mid-sized guest bedroom in under 10 minutes and it isn't too loud. I like that it has a digital control panel instead of an old style dial and I found the controls to be intuitive. I also really like that it comes with a remote so I don't have to get up to turn off the AC or adjust the temperature. It would be nice if it connected to WiFi so I could use an app on my phone to adjust the settings. However, for a non-smart AC, this RCA unit is tough to beat. It makes a great AC for cooling off my guest bedroom on hot summer days!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit came in the color of white. Installation was very straight forward. The unit went in the window very easily. I am using this in my work shed to keep this hot summer heat away. This cools the whole shed. I am very pleased.

Is loud while running.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We put this air conditioner in about a month ago, while it cools very nicely it also has a High pitched squill sound which is not so appealing, but if i had to choose I'd take the cool over the high heat and humidity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
