I have a pellet smoker but my Kamado Joe is by far the best investment i have ever made. I have cooked steaks, chicken and even pizza with it and the flavor is second to none. As a smoker ten stars on a scale one to five.

Hard to beat. Plenty of room to cook multiple things at once. We use ours 4-5 days a week. Price and rumor kept me away from Kamado grills for a long time and both were terribly inaccurate. Easily the best money I've ever spent and we use it so much we bought second one for larger cooking events. So much fun to run.

I went from grilling once every 6 months, to twice a month. I just wish it was easier to add wood when smoking.

Kamado Classic II will make you a chef

I used a weber gas grill for 15+ years and always thought it was easier to control the heat and a cleaner, cheaper way to grill meat. Wow, was I wrong and have been missing out on a flavor, tenderness, and a true way of grilling meat with perfection. It took some time to get used to dialing in the low heat for smoking meat, but figured it out the best way by having an excuse to grill out more. Our Thanksgiving Turkey recipe was taken right from John Setzler and it was amazing. I love the YouTube cooking video's by John! Would love to hang out for an afternoon and grill with John!
Would love to upgrade to the Classic III - have a promo to upgrade or offer an upgrade package to convert Classic II.

Spring to control weight of cover is the best

Purchased it because of the better quality seal and the ease of opening and closing of some cover. My wife doesn't mind cooking on it because of this feature.
