[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Joe is over 5 years old. And we love it. It maintains its temperature when smoking. The lid stays open in any position compared to the Egg which requires holding the lid in place while checking the food. It opens and burps very easily. We love searing our steaks bc it reaches up to 900 degrees. Food never tasted so good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a Joe Classic 5 years ago and have used it every week! The quality of cooking is far greater than my gas grill! I would recommend this grill to everyone! It’s worth the price and far exceeds the quality of other grills! It’s robust construction and ease of consistent cooking is in my book the best I’ve ever had!

Best grill ever purchased

I love to smoke but I wanted something that also grills and the Kamado is just as great as a smoker as it is a grill. I have even cooked pizzas at 700 degrees in it. The flavor from the Kamado brand briquets is some of the best charcoal flavor I have ever tasted.

Everything Tastes Good on my Big Joe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Big Joe Series II a few months ago and I have totally enjoyed cooking on this thing. Everything tastes amazing with great smoke flavor. It’s efficient and easy to clean. I love the versatility of being able to divide the two halves between smoking and grilling. Not having to add charcoal during a cook makes it worth every penny. My family and friends can’t wait to taste what I’ve cooked on the Kamado which has included Chicken, Pork butt, Tomahawk steak, salmon, scallops, ribs, brisket, corn on the cob, broccoli, and zucchini

My first grill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never owned a grill before being either in school or single living in apartments where grills weren’t allowed due to fire hazards. Been researching for months and jumped on the Kamado Joe classic 2 as my first grill. While more than other models it is something I plan to have a loooong time in our house. I have cooked pizzas, fish, shrimp, steaks, sausage, pork, brisket and corn. Everything turned out amazing and better than any restaurant we used to frequent. We are now excited to save money, eat quality food at home and I get to develop skills as a grill master. Once managing temperature controls with the vents it gets pretty easy.
