I liked it so much I bought it that night while visiting in Atlanta and it was at my doorstep in Scottsdale the next day. The versatility is amazing. The diversity of foods you can cook is fantastic and I find regulating the temp to be very easy. Love my Kamado Joe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our classic II 3 years ago. Wow, I should have done this 50 years ago. I cook all kinds of things and love it. I take turkeys to our neighbors, meatloaf, ribs, burgers, chicken wings and legs. We cook prime rib each Christmas for the family. On and on. So easy to learn and get it right. I watch the kamado joe YouTube channel for new ideas. I use kamado big block lump charcoal. I have my own fruit trees for smoking wood. Just a bunch of yeses.

Fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Classic Joe a few years ago and it's been great. High quality, durable, easy to use and holds it's heat well even in the winters of north Idaho. Over time I have added the DoJoe, the JoeTisserie, half-moon soapstone, half-moon cast Iron, and some other fun tools. The JoeTisserie is our favorite but all good quality and well used.
My only regret is that I didn't spring for the Big Joe - we regularly host 14+ people and I could use the extra space, but that's on me not on KJ. I'd say if you are on the fence and also have the space, just go for the Big Joe.

I can never go back to Weber

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love charcoal grilling and have always been a Weber man. When the time came for me to purchase a new grill I contemplated getting a Weber but after a lot of research I ended up with the Kamado Joe Classic 2. It’s fantastic! I use it for smoking meat, grilling, I’ve even baked Neapolitan style pizzas at 900 degrees and more! The amount of consistency and control you get over the temperature (once you get the hang of it) is unmatched by any other charcoal grill I’ve used. On a 12 hour smoke I only use one basket of charcoal and once I get the temp dialed in I never have to touch it for the whole 12 hours, unlike my Weber where I was constantly tinkering with the vents to control the temp all day long (and adding charcoal halfway through. If you’re like me and thinking about upgrading to a kamado from a Weber, just do it. It’s more expensive upfront but you’ll never regret it once you fire it up for the first time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting one of these for years and recently pulled the plug. I am so glad I did. I had three BBQ units (gas grill, smoker and charcoal grill) and this does them all.
A little education and trial and error with building a fire, but there is so much out there and the Kamado Joe website is amazing for tips and recipes.
I love the product and am so happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Kamado Joe Classic a little over 5 years ago and still very happy with it; however, I needed a smoker for our lake house and this time I chose the Kamado Big Joe II. The 24" grill space is impressive, and I fit 2 full Packard beef briskets on it over the weekend. Very pleased and looking forward in many more.
