I've wanted one of these for 20 years. I wish I would've bought it years ago. It's so well made. Solid construction. I'll have this for life. It's amazing how very little charcoal it uses! Steaks, burgers, bbq, this thing does it all!

It's a workhorse!

Thought about it a few days ago, I should write a review on the Classic Joe after a friend commented on how I use my grill and he wish he had one.
I have owned the grill for 5 yrs - 3 months and I finally need to replace the gasket. BUT! I use my grill more than most people. I live on the NC coast in the salt air, the grill stays under a 6' overhang on my deck, but it never gets covered because I use it so much. I average cooking on the Kamado Joe 5+ days a week, many weeks 6-7 days, year around. Rain, snow, freezing rain or high winds have not deterred me from cooking on the grill. The Kamado is the only grill I own, after cooking the first ribeye steaks on the Kamado over 5 years ago, my wife said I should give my stainless steel gas grill away because she didn't want any more steaks from a gas grill, and I did. My Kamado has had countless pork butts, ribs and pizzas cooked on it, not to mention hundreds of steaks, burgers, chicken and fish.
If I have a regret about purchasing the Kamado Joe, it would be not purchasing the Big Joe for additional cooking area.

The Classic Joe is a thing of beauty! I upgraded from a cheap charcoal to the Kamado Joe and I’m actually shocked at the difference. The quality is unmatched in my eyes and the grilling options are endless! Thank you Kamado Joe for a truly fine product!

I had a Komatsu style grille before and it was Ok, but the Kamado Joe is next-level! It’s like comparing a Toyota to a Lexus, they are both excellent cars but the fit and finish and touches of the Lexus make it stand out and so it is with these grilles. The online buying experience was also excellent with frequent updates as to the status of the order and setup of the delivery. This is a HUGE heavy grille so make sure you have help to place it! Zero regrets and I’m not sure what else I would put on a wish-list.

Amazing do it all grill

I’ve waited almost 3 years to leave a review although I’ve encouraged all my friends and co-workers to get a KJ. This grill continues to amaze me with its versatility. I especially like that I can smoke meat on this without much intervention. Many times I’ve heated the grill to 220 degrees put meat on the grill and left the house for hours only to come back and find it still locked on to the same temperate. I did have one issue with the heat deflectors but KJ took care of me. Loving this grill for sure

I bought the classic 2 just a little over three years ago. I'm really happy with it. I took the effort of writing this review because of my recent after sales experience. Just this month I had a problem with one of its parts, and kamado joe totally came through on its promises by delivering a replacement spare part to my door step within 3 days after my message. No further questions were asked. Big thumbs up!
