Big Joe II is great with Pizza + Slo Roller smokin

Love the big joe II, i've already used it for pizza and also the slo roller. The only issue I have is that the gasket seems to be coming off and is a bit delicate. I'm not sure if that is because of the heavy use I've put it through with the Do Joe...... Other than that its a great grill.

You just need a second person to put it together. It uses less charcoal than I thought. It’s so efficient. Can’t believe how easy it is to control the temp between hundreds of degrees with just a tiny amount of change in the air intake. It’s wonderful!

It's great and easy to use even if you never cooked with charcoal, which was the case for me. I was worried about controlling the temp when smoking but it was easy. I love the versatility!...Smoke, Roast, Sear! I'm very happy with my purchase.

I've wanted one of these for 20 years. I wish I would've bought it years ago. It's so well made. Solid construction. I'll have this for life. It's amazing how very little charcoal it uses! Steaks, burgers, bbq, this thing does it all!

It's a workhorse!

Thought about it a few days ago, I should write a review on the Classic Joe after a friend commented on how I use my grill and he wish he had one. I have owned the grill for 5 yrs - 3 months and I finally need to replace the gasket. BUT! I use my grill more than most people. I live on the NC coast in the salt air, the grill stays under a 6' overhang on my deck, but it never gets covered because I use it so much. I average cooking on the Kamado Joe 5+ days a week, many weeks 6-7 days, year around. Rain, snow, freezing rain or high winds have not deterred me from cooking on the grill. The Kamado is the only grill I own, after cooking the first ribeye steaks on the Kamado over 5 years ago, my wife said I should give my stainless steel gas grill away because she didn't want any more steaks from a gas grill, and I did. My Kamado has had countless pork butts, ribs and pizzas cooked on it, not to mention hundreds of steaks, burgers, chicken and fish. If I have a regret about purchasing the Kamado Joe, it would be not purchasing the Big Joe for additional cooking area.

The Classic Joe is a thing of beauty! I upgraded from a cheap charcoal to the Kamado Joe and I’m actually shocked at the difference. The quality is unmatched in my eyes and the grilling options are endless! Thank you Kamado Joe for a truly fine product!
