Versatile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this model for about two years now and have not looked back. This smoker gives you the versatility to smoke some of the best smoked meats you will ever taste to grilling up some hot and fast steaks. This grill does all the work.

A Really Big Deal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Big Joe with intentions of weight loss. This has made my Carnivore diet so easy and grilled meats have been so good. Since late March 2025, I am down 70 lbs and for me, the motivation came from this grill. I grill once a week and this has made it so easy to manage cooking. I only regret not buying this sooner. My favorite is buying, cutting and grilling whole beef Ribeye that lasts 2 or more weeks.
The grill is expensive but so worth the investment, so the value is great when you factor in quality and longevity of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my KJ Classic II 3 years ago and can honestly say, this grill is incredible. I initially dipped my toe in the water and bought a cheaper "box store" brand kamado. I had it for about a year and couldn't get the temps to even out, so started doing some research online. That's when I stumbled upon Smoking Dad BBQ. After watching all of his content, I was sold on KJ. I ended up selling my junk kamado along with the table I made for it and bought a Classic II. After one cook on the KJ I was hooked. I ended up building a table for it and it has been on my back patio ever since. The grill is extremely flexible and can do anything you throw at it. Steaks, Ribs, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Burnt Ends, Burgers, Chicken Wings, you name it and it comes off the Joe perfect! It is so easy to get to a temperature and it just stays there. I've had several friends buy a Joe after seeing mine in action. Writing this review has me thinking I need to go out and make some pork belly burnt ends. Happy smoking everyone!!!

One and done cooker.

I’ve had them all, pellet grills, off sets, propane, ugly drum smokers… and this replaces them all but provides a better smoke, grill, and roast than all they other types of grill. It is incredible how well this thing maintains temperature and how efficient it is with charcoal. From smoking at 225f for 8 hours to a 700 degree sear. An incredible value. Pro tip. Don’t hesitate, get the joetisserie it’s incredible.

Love our Big Joe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this kamado. We cook four butts or four racks all the time. Our neighbors are thankful for the extra capacity! We originally purchased in 2020 after having owned a few akorn's. Researched a few years before pulling the trigger. I wish I had gotten sooner. Once you get the vent settings you like, the Big Joe can run unattended for the duration of cooks. We use a fireboard to monitor temps for longer cooks b/c Big Joe can run 18+ hours without ever needing to add lump.
