They do not honor their warranty

I purchased my Kamado Joe II on June 29th 2022. They did not put enough tape around the top to keep it from falling off. It fell off and was damaged when it hit the ground. My registration was filled out and accepted. Hallie Stevenson asked for a copy of my receipt. I copied it and sent it to her. She said she needs a photo copy. Everything she needs is on the copy that I sent her. I have no idea what she wants but I am not happy with the way this is being handled. Next step is the BBB.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We reviewed the case and see that the proof of purchase was incomplete and did not indicate the retailer that the product was purchased from or the date. The case was updated and a replacement parts have been provided such as the kontrol tower and a new gasket. Tracking will be provided once those orders ship. I got my Big Joe for Christmas in 2018 and throughout 2019 I made it my mission to learn how to use it effectively. I must say, today I am producing brisket, pastrami, ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and pizza that blow people away and rival many restaurants. I continue to marvel at how my Big Joe allows me to create such amazing meals. I love the Kamado Joe Big Lump charcoal as well.

Read a lot of positive reviews before purchasing. Debated whether to spend this much money on a grill, but after a few months decided to pull the trigger. Went with the Kamado Joe because of the advanced features like the counterbalance hinge and the oven type gasket. I have to admit that I love the Red color as well. This grill arrived well packaged, is solidly built, and was easy to assemble. Look forward to many years of outdoor cooking.

High Quality Value & Good Cooking

I have been a gas griller for years using Weber products. Chose to move into a charcoal smoker, to enhance the beef brisket recipe our family has. Kamado Joe was a fantastic choice for high quality that will last. The BJII provides additional space for when cooking for a larger group! Still learning, but enjoying it thus far!
