I've got it dialed in and love the science behind creating the perfect burn. About to smoke a pork shoulder and turkey this weekend and can't wait for the results!

Most versatile outdoor cooker.

I can follow and slow smoking brisket, pulled pork’s, etc. to high temperature sear and pizza bakes. I have soap stone, Joetisserie (plus baskets), soap stone, and griddle accessories for it. I love that I can get the charcoal flavors with whatever type of wood chunks I can throw in there!

From the moment you open the lid, you can tell it’s built with quality and attention to detail. The ceramic construction holds heat incredibly well, making it just as reliable for low-and-slow smoking as it is for high-temperature searing.
What I love most is its versatility—you can cook anything on it: ribs, brisket, pizzas, burgers, even bread. The Divide & Conquer cooking system is a real game-changer, letting me set up multiple cooking zones at once, so I can smoke on one side and sear on the other.
Cleanup is straightforward thanks to the ash drawer, and the heavy-duty cart makes it easy to move around. It feels like it’s built to last for decades, not just years.

First timer loves how easy grilling on a KJ is!!

This is my first Kamado style grill. I was a little worried that I wouldn’t like it so I did a lot of researching before deciding. My friend has a BGE so he urged me to get one also. After discovering Kamado Joe I read tons of reviews and watched countless videos comparing KJ & BGE. The things that sold me on KJ were the color (BGE green is atrocious), much better fiberglass gasket vs felt on BGE, the BGE doesn’t come with a stand or any of the extras you get with Kamado Joe, and the Classic Joe II was $200 less than the same size BGE. I ordered my Classic Joe II directly from KamadoJoe.com and they threw in a free bag of big block charcoal and free shipping!! I’ve had it for only a month, but I’ve used it 8 times already. I knew nothing about cooking this way and now I’m turning out great ribs, brisket, steaks and smoked Thank you Kamado Joe for making such an awesome product!!

the best grill i ever cooked on, and I've tried a few, the way this big guy keeps the temperature is unbelievable, outdoor cooking turned into a hobby and cooking on big joe is just a pleasure. low and slow, searing steaks, even pizzas, does everything incredibly well.
add that beautiful charcoal flavor to anything you cook.
I think you can tell how happy i am with my bigJoe : )

They do not honor their warranty

I purchased my Kamado Joe II on June 29th 2022. They did not put enough tape around the top to keep it from falling off. It fell off and was damaged when it hit the ground. My registration was filled out and accepted. Hallie Stevenson asked for a copy of my receipt. I copied it and sent it to her. She said she needs a photo copy. Everything she needs is on the copy that I sent her. I have no idea what she wants but I am not happy with the way this is being handled. Next step is the BBB.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We reviewed the case and see that the proof of purchase was incomplete and did not indicate the retailer that the product was purchased from or the date. The case was updated and a replacement parts have been provided such as the kontrol tower and a new gasket. Tracking will be provided once those orders ship.
