Per below review, updating. Support originally told me it would be February or March on receiving replacement firebox, but it came today 12-15-21. There will be smoked turkey and ham for Christmas after all....... Thanks so much for great service. I was prepared to pay for all this because I wasn't sure warranty was still on, but it came free of charge. Upgrading to 5 stars.

I was torn between the Big Joe 2 and the 3 but I decided to go with the 2. I have no regrets and I love my new Big Joe 2. Definitely an eye catcher down here in South Louisiana. But the methods beat every other type of grill I’ve ever owned.

Awesome product. Divide and conquer for direct and indirect heat to grill the steaks. Extreme steady temperature once set. Twelve plus hours of smoking before refilling charcoal. A Deflector to smoke Brisket, Pork Butt, Ribs, Chicken, Duck, etc. I’m extremely satisfied with Kamado Joe Classic II.

I bought this grill in 2020, and enjoyed it for quite a while. I had a few issues with parts, and customer service was always really helpful with their warranty. Now out of no where, they refuse to honor their warranty unless I can magically provide a receipt from 3 years ago. Watching a great company go down the drain is always sad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. The manufacture warranty requires a copy of the purchase receipt. I do where we have sent out a few items as a one time courtesy previously. We will need the purchase receipt to send any additional items under warranty. We do also offer replacement parts for purchase here on our website.

The Land of Milk and Honey with a side of Brisket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I step into my yard I enter the Promised Land. I skip the milk and honey and go straight for the brisket on my Kamado Joe Classic. I’ve cooked many a brisket but none like that gracing the grates of my Joe. Just heavenly.

Never screw up a cook again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an egg head for 16 years and I traded in my large BGE for a Kamado Joe. Loved it before love the Joe better as it keeps the temp set until it runs out of charcoal. The spring loaded cover and multi level grates make it very vursital and predictable/ Get one and never screw up a cook again!
