Extreme Smoky Joe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While building an outdoor kitchen I decided to add a smoker and started the research. I had used a traditional off-set smoker for years and explored newer offsets, pellet grills, and ceramic eggs. I landed on the Kamado Joe and so glad I did. I selected the “Big Joe” because I wanted the room and flexibility of the larger surface area. I can smoke at least 4 full slabs of ribs with room to spare, no need to rack them. Full turkeys no problems. However while the room is a plus the quality of the build is the reason for this review. Every aspect of the layout is top notch, the locking hardware, seals and gaskets, and springs all make this product very useable. One of the best features is the ash removal system which makes cleanup a snap, simply sweep the ash to the bottom, pull the tray and dump - simple and easy. The other eggs I looked at required removing ash from the inside. One accessory I recommend is the iKamand which helps manage the temperature accurately and provides automated recipes if needed. I highly recommend Kamado Joe,

Worth The Money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this grill in early 2020, at the start of the COVID lockdowns. I figured if I was going to be stuck at home, I might as well enjoy it. Since then, I've used it at least once or twice a week, weather permitting, and have had very few complaints. I've done everything from quick burgers and seared steaks to full-day smoked pork and beef brisket, and have even used it to smoke my Thanksgiving turkey for the last two years. It has handled everything I've thrown at it, and consistently exceeded my expectations. It's expensive, there's no getting around that, but for someone who will use it often and wants a grill that can handle whatever you want to throw on it, it's worth every penny.

Best grill ever!

The Doe Joe is awesome when you are a couple, or have a party, it keeps up awesome. The value of the product is good with all the accessories, love the slide out ash tray and the split rack. Will not Disappoint.
