Doesn’t dry clothes!

We have a brand new fridgidaire electric dryer and it does not dry our clothes. We need to use the tumble dry low setting for 95% of our items and we will need to use two and sometimes three 90min cycles of this to get things dry. We have never experienced this with past dryers and are extremely disappointed. Based on these reviews we’re also not the only ones to experience this problem. Would NOT recommend this dryer.

We feel terrible that this has been your experience. We would like to offer some troubleshooting tips that may prove to be helpful. First, make sure that the lint trap is always free of lint between every cycle. Next, the Exhaust duct must be at least 4 inches in diameter and made of rigid or semi-rigid metal. When in place, the duct must have no more than four 90° bends and must not exceed the length listed in the Installation instructions. Drying time will be 20% longer than drying on a 240-volt circuit. And lastly, clean out any obstructions from your outside duct. If none of these tips help, our team may be reached by calling 1-800-374-4432 Mon - Fri, 8:30 am – 8 pm (EST) Kindly, Christy

Good dryer for the price

Dryer works with no problems, the sensor cycle results in clothes that are dry but not over dried. Very easy to use on auto cycles.

This dryer doesn't disappoint. A straight forward machine with the functions you need without the unnecessary bling and expense. The dryer is doing what a dryer should do!

Very pleased with the overall performance and storage however it seem like the shelves are not quite wide enough for the racks and we have to make sure they are balanced so they don't fall
