Just bought this to replace old cooktop and really haven’t used it yet. I love the design and ease of installation .the reviews were excellent and one of the reasons I purchased this. Looking forward to cooking on this cooktop

Great features and layout

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected this cooktop based on the features and reviews, and I am not disappointed. I have had electric cooktops in the past and hated them. I have always preferred gas, and was thinking I would use this cooktop for a while and eventually have gas run to the kitchen in this house. This cooktop has changed my opinion on electric. The touch controls give a broad range of even temperature control. I especially like the feature that links two burners with center heat for large oblong cookware, amd syncs the heat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Install, Great Look and Features

Easy to install yourself with some minor modifications to add the clips for the Thor cooktop my previous unit didn't have. The cooktop itself looks great once installed. With young kids I do like the power button feature you have to hold for a couple of seconds to turn on any element, it also has the locking mechanism to prevent younger kids from turning on accidentally. Most importantly the wife is happy with it.

Exceeds expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this heading into the winter holidays in to replace another glass top cooker. I hesitated purchasing it only because the existing one was such a disappointment. I am so glad I loved forward with it!
It far out performs the last unit we had. It heats incredibly quickly. I am finding I get great results using lower settings. I am looking forward to seeing how much this saves on my electric bill. When we build our dream kitchen I will be sure to look into other Thor products!
