Nice looking microwave

The microwave looks nice, but when it runs, even though it is vented out the top, it still blows some warm moist air out of the holes in the top front up on the cabinet doors which gets them wet and over time will ruin the cabinet doors. This is very disappointing. As a result it makes me not want to use it since I don't want my cupboard doors ruined.

Good afternoon,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on your Cafe Appliances microwave. We value your opinion, and appreciate your feedback!
We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing some moisture on your cabinets from time-to-time. Steam or vapor escaping from around the door is normal as the door is designed to allow heat and steam to escape to prevent the overheating of the unit. It is normal to see some condensation between the door panels, or on the appliance after use.
We hope this puts your mind at ease. Please don't hesitate to reach back out to us if you should have additional questions or concerns. Thank you for trusting Café Appliances for your home! -Devin@Café
GE said this was replacement for existing cafe unit. NO WAY changed door swing- hit cabinets door opens less than 45 degrees. Lots of adjustment to make it fit. No light up controls at night. Control button very hard to push. Wish I could return it !
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
We’re sorry to hear that you’ve been less than impressed with your new microwave, and that it wasn’t a direct replacement for your old model. Our over-the-range microwaves are designed for 13" max cabinet depth. If the depth is 14-16" a bump out kit may be needed. We apologize that the controls don’t light up; microwave control panels aren’t typically backlit, but we think this is a great idea and we’ll forward this suggestion to our product team.
We design our microwaves to be easy to operate. If your control panel buttons are difficult to push, we recommend taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling an appointment with one of our qualified technicians. You can schedule service by calling 1-800-432-2737 or by going to https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. Please know we’re here should you need further assistance. -MichaelB@Café
