It is a great way to stay in touch that you can control, without having to get a phone. It has given my 9yo a safe communication line to us and good training for when he does graduate to a mobile.

Perfect gift

Our 10yr old son received a spacetalk watch for Christmas (we feel he's too young for a phone) Spacetalk is the perfect item for a child before they are ready for a phone. He loves it.

Good clarity of sound. Could improve functions

My daughter is enjoying her watch so far (has only been a few days).
Pluses: The sound is clear and the interface is easy to use. I like that the data is secure on-shore.
Negatives: The touch screen is not very sensitive and typing is rather difficult. There is no video calling, and the video function only allows videos of up to 10 seconds to be recorded. This means she can’t even finish saying her sentence before it cuts out, so rather pointless. This should clearly be started on the advertising.

We are happy with the watch, we got it for our 7yo daughter for school as I’m sometimes not able to pic her up with work commitments so I can let her know now. Just wish it was waterproof

Within a week the watch stopped working due to a splash of water. Definitely didn’t reflect its IP67 rating.

Great product

Recently purchased this for my 7 year old, watch has many great features and really easy to use. The watch band is however too big for my 7 year old and the face also looks big on his wrist. I have placed velcro on the band to ensure it stays done up and secure. Would love to see more suitable wrist bands to purchase as an add on.

We purchased the Spacetalk for both our daughters after rigorous research and speaking to other families regarding similar products. The Spacetalk watch gives us the reassurance we needed when the kids catch the bus home from school, playdates and sleepovers at friends.
Safe to use and enables them to have responsibility without having exposure to mobile and internet spam.
