We recently purchased a watch and it does everything they say it does, and it does it well. It is really well priced for the capability and security it offers. The only improvement I could offer is that a face be developed that shows the day of the week and not just the date, this option would be invaluable to a person with memory issues such as my wife she comments that this is the one thing that is missing.

Keeps my child safe

My child is too young to own a phone but I can still communicate with him so that's been great. I know that he is safe on the bike on his way to school and coming back home. The only thing that could be improved is the battery life. By the time he comes home from school, it's down to 15%.

Our purchase of the Adventurer model is a Spacetalk Support Team recommended upgrade from the 2 x Kids models we have had for several years for use by our wheelchair confined adult disabled son, the 2 x Kids models being used as 'Duty' and 'Standby' units rotated on a need to repair the 'Duty' model basis. The casings of the Kids models were from time to time being cracked and the wrist band attachment to the casing sometimes separated, the causes of the damages we have never discovered. The Adventurer model casing we are told is of more robust material, and the wrist straps are DIY replacable avoiding the need to return the Adventurer to the Support Team for replacement, which is a relief to us and our son.
We have found the Spacetalk Kids models to be very reliable and ideal as both a watch and a phone for our son, with the limited features being entirely adequate for his need. The Adventurer model has very many more features than the Kids model, and in our particular case many of the features will be access limited by use of the parental control facility of school mode so as to eliminate confusion to our son, as his only needs are to be able to see the time and date, receive and make phone calls to parents and siblings, receive text messages, and the GPS feature is ideal for son or Adventurer locating. Too early to comment on improved robustness of the casing, but it certainly 'looks' more robust.

Unfortunately not happy with purchase

The model I purchased operates on 3G network and most of the time when I need to call my son, it just doesn't connect. There is always issue on 3G . This seems waste of money to me as not very useful as I thought of.

Great step into smartwatches for kids

Absolutely fantastic smartwatch for kids, my 8yo loves it. All features are great, especially the GPS function for parents, a great piece of mind. Easy to setup and use. I also like the fact that you can set as to who your child can call and message, another great functionality. Durability is great as well. Overall 10 out of 10. I will be getting another one for my other child as well.
