Crazy Start Button

Just installed dryer. All features of drying are great. The only problem is it is very hard to start; you have to be very coordinated! The start button is on electronic panel where you are scared to push too hard as it may break something, but never fear, you just have to push it hard and hope your finger does not break. Then you have to hold it in with this hard pressure with your finger. Then, if you hold it perfectly and hard enough, the lights start moving in order and just when the last light flashes you have to quickly release the button. If you don't release it just at the right split second, you have to start the whole process over again. I can assure you, it is not the best start system for some 70 year old fingers and reflexes! Maybe great for someone who plays video games and has fast reflexes. Maybe I will get used to it, but this is a crazy design; why not a simple push button knob like all the others I have had for the past 50 years.

Nice Dryer, but hate the power up process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The switch to turn on the power works, but the start up switch is not easy to understand. Having to hold it until it goes through all the lights and then goes on after you let go. A simple on switch is better!

Absolutely love this dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing dries everything so much quicker than my old machine. I can dry way more towels than before in record time. My favorite feature; steam!!! Sometimes I don’t feel like ironing so I would spray water on my clothes & throw it in the dryer. This machine solved that by adding a water line to produce steam while drying, absolutely loving that option!

Little features make this one worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first dryer with a steam feature and I've been very pleased with it. Connecting the dryer was pretty straightforward. I purchased a gas line hookup kit, properly sized to the gas supply line and a steam dryer water connection kit from a local big box store. With a few turns of a wrench and snugging up the hose connections with a pair of pliers and it was ready to go. It has a nice large capacity, I was able to dry my king size bedding with ease. The controls are large and easy to use, except for the start button. The steam functions are rather useful to me, I have sensitive skin and don't like using scented dryer sheets. The anti-static steam feature makes it so I don't have to use dryer sheets or worry about static cling. My girlfriend even threw in her dry clean only winter coat using the steam feature but for half the time and it was fine. That alone makes everything about this dryer worth it. My little complaints, and they are minor ones, is there's no indication of how long is left on the drying cycle. My old unit the knob would spin as it ran and give at least an approximation of how much time was remaining. This unit has a series of lights below the knows that show progress but it doesn't really give much indication of the remaining time. The start button has to pressed down and held. It's a flat button not a knob button and it's kind of a pain. Especially for older people with arthritis in fingers. Finally, I must give credit to whoever came up with the idea of putting a light inside the dryer. Thank you so much for that! I guess it's the little things.

Handles your heaviest loads with ease

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is simply amazing. It can handle your bulkiest, heaviest loads in record time with no more dampness or wet spots. It can sense when items need more time, or are already done so you aren't wasting unnecessary time or energy. The steam refresh is essential for those times when you accidentally forget you left a load in overnight. Just run it through the steam and it's fresh and unwrinkled in no time. I have been able to dry comforters without any issue that I would have to take to the laundromat before. The capacity and power is simply astonishing. I absolutely adore this dryer and would highly recommend it to anyone
