[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The T-Series in general are solid laptops that I have rolled out for years. Particularly, the 14" models. Phasing out the T480 and T490 and replacing them with the T14 and T14s offers an even more thinner and light weight form factor that my team and I don't mind traveling with. I personally tote the storm gray model. It offers an elegant design that stands out amongst all others. Although these devices are perfect for the corporate world due to their design and the biometric finger scanner, they also make great personal computers as well. If you want a rugged machine that doesn't break your wrist, look at the ThinkPad T14/T14s. Be aware that you will sacrifice available ports on these models. In order to improve on the form factor, ports like RJ45 has been omitted from the design. Not to worry... in most cases you will connect VIA WiFi but keep a USB to ethernet adapter in your bag just in case. I give the T14 5 stars.
