Performance is great but battery life is pathetic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The performance and video quality on this machine are exactly what I was looking for. The only issue I have is that the battery only lasts 2-3 hours under moderate usage. I thought there was a battery problem, but service has now replaced the battery twice and there's no improvement. Between myself and my husband we've had 10 Thinkpads over the last 20+ years and they've always lasted 6-10 hours on battery power. So this is a huge step backward for this particular machine. I wish I could give it 5 stars because everything else is great, but it's basically a desktop, not a laptop.

It is light to carry and power cord is long enough and not to heavy. The keyboard has the right touch and feel to allow fast accurate typing and the colors of the display are perfect. And with 1TB of SSD (not disk) memory makes all the interactions with the software instant!

Various stability issues. Trackpad freezes requiring a restart, webcam unstable on chrome, alt+tab doesn't display anything on screen. None of these are fixed by installing the latest drivers.
Overall I like the hardware, but the driver issues are very frustrating. I've been a Lenovo user for 17 years, but I can't continue to be unless these get fixed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
