I use it primarily for photo editing and it has been great - it can handle the high demand without slowing down and the super bright display really let's me see what I am working with.

Good solid choice so far. Struggled with whether to purchase a Dell or Lenovo. This workstation replaced an old Dell Precision M4800 (a suitcase). I haven't stressed it yet, but it is light and quick. I fully expected a piece of equipment with a more rigid aluminum body, but this one is plastic and more pliable than I liked at first making me wonder how tough it might be to haul around in a backpack and maybe risk getting bumped. I have gotten used to it, and don't see it as an issue. the performance so far has been fine. Kind of expected more accessory ports (USB), but not really an issue.

This is the first laptop I purchased in about a decade. I needed something to run solidworks and handle anything I throw at it for engineering school. Works smoothly and perfectly so far (I've had it for around a month). If you're in the market for a workhorse, this will do you just fine. Keyboard is beautiful, it's back-lit and feels nice. Display is clean, and the overall matte feel of the laptop is nice. Only downside is this things picks up fingerprints like it gets paid to.
