[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My model was the Lenovo Thinkbook 3s Gen 3 with Ryzen 7 5800U, 16gb RAM, 512 SSD. I was looking for a 13" ultrabook as I entered school so that I could not only take it to school or a library to study, but also bring it home, hook it to my monitor and use it as a desktop. From what I can tell so far, this laptop is insanity for the price. The chassis is entirely aluminum, and the touchpad is a great size, responsive and not too loud. I'm personally a big fan of the keyboard too but that is more of a preference thing. Fingerprint reader built into the power button is immediate, and the camera has a shutter switch for extra security/comfort. I've heard previous issues with the fans being too loud, but I have mine plugged in the majority of the time and haven't noticed them once. That being said, I've set the power level to battery saving for the majority of the time. keyboard doesn't get too warm on this setting but that's gonna be relative to your expectations of too warm. I'm a big fan of the 16:10 aspect ratio and the screen is beautiful, however I don't use it outside so haven't noticed any issues that might arrise with screen brightness outside. The only issue I was blindsided by was the screen bezels are not edge to edge. They're closer to 5 or 6 mm (1/4") all around. One additional thing I was looking for was a dedicated GPU, but I just came to terms that it's not feasible in a 13" because it would take up too much space, run too hot and be WAY to expensive.
I don't have much to compare this too because this was my first laptop in 6 years, so take this review with a grain of salt. Not to give Lenovo any undue credit, I just haven't personally encountered any issues with this machine yet for my needs.
I picked this model up for around $1,100 Canadian just after christmas and nothing has come close to this in recent releases.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop works really well and I havent faced any issues since the initial internet cinnection issues.
Initially it came in with Windows 10. As soon as I upgraded to windows 11 it failed to connect through wifi. Moreover it doesnt have a LAN cable option. The disconnect was because of old network drivers. The customer support just had asked the laptop to be sent back to Lenovo for fixing the network driver issue which I didnt want. There was no option to connect to the internet through Wifi or any other way. So I installed Itunes by transferring it through a USB to the new laptop. After installing itunes i connected to the internet through itunes and my phone’s usb connection. I upgraded the network driver and finally the wifi started working in windows 11. Lenovo should upgrade the windows 11 upgradable laptops in their own facility and help the customers avoid this hassle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm impressed with how esthetically beautiful this laptop is. It's light weight, the screen has an aspect ratio of 16:10 taller than the normal 16:9. I have an old glossy screen laptop, and I can notice the difference the anti glare makes on this machine. The sound is crisp, and clear even at full volume. Wish it could be louder. The downside, it doesn't have a card reader, but I can get an adapter for that. Overall, I'm pleased with it especially for its look, and lightweight feature. Thank you Lenovo !
I am now on my second machine, the first one mysteriously stopped having any Audio input after a week and now the replacement is having issues connecting to the internet. When I tried to call for help I was told they could replace my unit but any software support was $70-$200. Calling for the second issue and keep getting sent to dead air.

I do not like the battery because the laptop works only 4 hours without connecting it to the plug. The size is perfect and is fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great laptop for the price, lots of power and a deceivingly nice FHD Matte display. I little hard to take the onscreen notification for caps lock off but nothing out of the ordinary for laptops.
