I was looking for a robot vacuum to clean all my floors when I'm extremely busy. I love it so much and it does the job. From living room to kitchen floors. It's so worth it.

Let me start by saying I have owned Shark/Ninja products for years and loved them. I had one of the first models of the robot vac and loved it so when I seen this one, I was excited to “upgrade” to a vac mop robot that had the self-emptying feature. I am so disappointed in this product! The first run where it mapped my house is the ONLY time it worked correctly. The self-cleaning brush roll is a joke, I constantly get the error announcement saying I need to clean the brush roll or that it is stuck. Or a message that I need to empty the dust bin (thought it was supposed to be self emptying) when it literally just docked itself to empty. The cliff sensors don’t work correctly either, at least not mine, as it constantly tries to escape through the slider and vacuum my yard (not joking, I couldn’t find it once and went outside to identify the noise I was hearing and there he was, vacuuming my patio and grass). So disappointed I paid $$$ for a product that doesn’t deliver.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought mine 4 months ago and love it . Thinking about buying a second one (maybe that mops also) . I have purchased several Shark , steam mops 2 vacuums. a wood floor cleaner. They all work great .

So glad I upgraded to this model after I bought a try-it-out model of a different brand on clearance earlier this year. My old robot quit connecting to its app and would only work with the included remote. I need something self-sufficient and reliable. I love all of the features and the self-emptying, recharge and resume and the empty and resume. I haven’t tried the mop tank yet, I just got the vacuum and set it up hours ago. As soon as I checked the battery and it was at 100%, I started the mapping and set it out to vacuum. It did an excellent job and picked up so much more than my previous robot. I love that it doesn’t bounce off the walls like the previous one did. I am very impressed with how easy it was to set up and assemble. Start to finish, assembly and getting it all connected to my app and WiFi, took about 20 minutes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Entering unmapped areas

For some odd reason the robot keeps going into room that wasn’t mapped. Normally it wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but the rooms are used for storage and there are objects on the floor that the robot can get hung up onto. That’s the reason why the rooms weren’t mapped in the first place.

We purchased this particular robot vacuum, our first, for Christmas. It was well reviewed online and that helped sway us their way. Pros - Vacuum suction is strong (which is the most important feature for us) and operation is pretty straightforward and operates in the dark. Cons - the phone app, Shark Clean, is a bit dated, for example, real-time mapping would be a great functional improvement. I would recommend when mapping try to get the most open room map possible at first. It will also clean better if you can break a large room into smaller rooms with a square pattern if possible. Great product and glad we purchased it.
