This vacuum can go from my plank flooring to my thick area rugs with no problem. Another brand that I had would get stuck during the transition.

We bought it 2 weeks ago after our base model shark died. We were very happy with the old one but this new model is a game changer. Throw away your mop people!!

I bought this product not realizing it was a mop, too! I LOVE this product. I have 4 dogs in the house, 2 are puppies about 6 months old. They love to dig and run in the dirt/mud. I was going crazy trying to keep up with it on my hardwoods. This has been a lifesaver for me! I can have clean floors when I get home from work instead of having to clean my floors before cooking.

It takes a lot of tweaking to get the rooms and carpets programmed. I love the new technology, but I don’t think any robot vacuum works as well as the OG Shark!

We are waiting for our replacement as the one that was sent stopped working correctly. While it did work it did a good job. Tracking/mapping was thorough and complete. Really like that the robot would return to base to recharge and then go back and complete the job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm having issues getting it to.map my house correct and when I finally got it mapped. I am having issues with the app..it keeps telling me the app has a bug and I need to exit and re-enter. I have been doing that for days now. I have had it about 2 weeks and have not been able to use it yet! Really frustrated- thinking about returning it and the accessory items I purchased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I see you mentioned that you've been experiencing issues with mapping.
Please could I recommend if you haven't done so already, that you ensure you have the latest version of the app downloaded. Once, that is completed please ask the robot to complete an Explore Run. This can take about 30 minutes to complete depending on the size of your home. When the Explore Run is completed you will be able to see the map of your home within the SharkClean App. This is when you can either approve and save the map or ask the robot to Re-explore. When you are satisfied with the map of your home you will be able to create rooms and no-go zones. This way you can pick when and where you'd like the robot to clean!
