Loved it until I had a error no. 7/ cliff warning

Loved this product until I experienced an error no.7 / cliff warning It is not near anything that resembles a cliff. I cleaned the seal da and reset it multiple times. Still won’t clear. Very frustrating !

couldn't believe how much more stuff it pulled up

I had the j7 + and decided to give the shark AL a try and I had it clean the same rooms that my old robot cleaned and couldn't believe how much was left behind that it left. shark is a WINNER

Good vacuum except poor carpet mapping

I have throw rugs and carpets all over my house with laminate flooring. I found it very cumbersome to even come close to mapping out the areas of the carpeting for mopping. Shark should create a feature in their app that allows you to define the four points of the carpet using the robot. You could simply pick up the robot and set it at each corner. Then the application could easily capture the four points on an app and you could accept.

This requires attention almost daily to fix the mop pads, replace or clean the mop pads, and add more water. I’ve had this a month and there are already times where it does not work. Very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Product is ok other than keeps breaking

I bought this product a little over a year ago and have had to have it replaced twice. The part where you push to take the part that hold the water keeps breaking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always had my doubts about this style of vacuum, always thinking that they would be underpowered and not up to the task of cleaning my home adequately. With that in mind, I was ready to try the Shark Ultra 2-in-1 on the carpeted second level of my home.
Unboxing the vacuum was a simple task and, after minimal assembly (4 steps in all), after downloading the app, I was ready to send my new robo-vac off to investigate the entire floor. The first step entails the vacuum going around to "map out" the floor. This step was interesting to watch as the vacuum made its way around the entire floor of the house "learning" where objects and items were. What I wasn't prepared for was that, after mapping out the floorplan, the app asked me several questions about locations that might be "off limits" or where there might be area rugs. Luckily for me, the entire level is carpeted (other than two bathrooms) and I was able to move past those questions. If you will be using the wet-clean feather (i.e. a combination of hard floor surfaces, area rugs, carpet) you will have the ability to control what cleaning function the Shark AI performs in each of those areas!
Once I had approved the floor layout I sent the vacuum off on its maiden voyage. It doe's bump around a little bit as it works its way around doors and other obstacles but, man does this thing get the job done! Because of its low profile, the vacuum can go under beds, chairs, and elevated dressers with ease. It goes about its cleaning job and easily cleans the entire floor area thoroughly.
After using the vacuum for a few weeks (I program it to make one entire pass of the 2nd floor of the house every weekday) I am a believer in the Shar AI Ultra! It is great to get done with work and have the upstairs bedrooms/bathrooms freshly vacuumed every day. I've been converted from a sceptic to a huge fan!

Beyond helpful, cleans superb, but has its flaws..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first robo vacuum, I have 3 kids, 2 dogs, our backyard is sandy and everyone brings the sand inside onto our hardwood floors. I had high expectations for this product, while it’s advanced and helpful it does have it’s flaws. I’ve been using this product for daily cleanings for 2 months.The first month went fine: I plugged it in, set up the app, mapped my house and was ready to go. There are 4 buttons on top for manual control, but for the most part the whole system is controlled by Wi-Fi and the app. During setup the product “maps” your house and which rooms you want it to clean/avoid. One day it started going into rooms that were never added to the map. Keep in mind the floor needs to be picked up beforehand. I looked it up and others have had the same problem with the map being deleted or randomly adding additional sq ft, it was advised to delete the map and remap your house, which takes about 30 minutes to an hour. I remapped it and as of yesterday, about a month later, the estimated cleaning time went from 5 mins to 35 mins for one room. Which means I need to remap again, because it’s added almost 7x the square footage and is running around all over. Not something I’m looking forward to every month. Is the app or the system? I have no idea, but for the price I’d expect better programming.
I can say with the time spent using this product, it’s the absolute most helpful product I own. It’s like having an extra set of hands around, and when it’s not off adventuring, it cleans my floors spotless. It’s easy to switch between tanks. The mop tank also vacuums, although I still run the vacuum first. The vacuum attachment empties by suction into the dump tank and it can hold quite a bit. I’ve emptied it at a quarter full after almost 3 weeks. It also can’t pick up anything bigger than dirt, pet hair and very small pieces of debris or it will stop the roller brush and/or the suction outlet.

It's not as good as the commercial shows. It does its job for the most part. Misses some dust bunnies from time to time. It works good for what your paying for. I highly recommend getting the lifetime warranty though.
