I purchased the ai robot self empty robot and was so impressed with its features that I also purchased the 2 in 1. I really like the initial mapping which is fairly accurate. The vacuuming feature is very efficient. The scheduling works like a charm. I had difficulty in defining the zones like carpet, rooms, etc. Which is quite difficult to map accurately. The vacuum often goes outside of the boundary and sometimes leaves areas. This is more so with the mop attachment which needs monitoring so that it does not go on the carpet. This would not have been the case if the mapping of carpet zone was effective. I am however impressed with the cleaning capabilities of the mop with left my hardwood floors shining as new.
Another aspect worth mentioning is using the vacuum on a different floor. I found success with the vacuum in vacuuming in unmapped rooms where it scans and cleaning dynamically. The mop however only seems to do spots. Its a hassle having to move it manually from spot to spot to cover the whole room. I would love to see the mop feature enhanced more with accuracy of carpet zone mapping and whole room mopping on unmapped floors. The ability to cross over carpet areas to non carpet areas without making it wet is essential because in my floor plan the robot has to cross carpet to get to a non carpet area to mop.
Overall I am satisfied with the purchase of my two shark robots but would be happier if the software is updated to better the above mentioned flaws.

Great Features and easy to run

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum was very easy to set up and run. The base unit sits nicely in the hallway out of the way and does not take up a lot of space. We have two double coated dogs that seem to shed year around so this shark has made keeping our kitchen and hall free of dust and hair very well. This has to be emptied a lot more than I expected but as I said I do have to keep up with a lot of dog hair and this is doing a great job. This is not to noisy and goes about its business and goes back to the docking station without hesitation. I have not had any issues with it getting stuck at all, it just bounces off of one thing and heads on its way to the next area. This made prepping for our Holiday gathering so easy , the shark ran while I was cooking and everything was ready for guests without any worry. The app is a bit confusing at first but once you get the hang of it things work as expected. Very clear instructions that give you a step by step dialog on setting it up and setting up run times. Wonderful addition that saves you that extra bit of time that we all seem to need.

This is the worse product I have ever owned

Got this a gift from My daughter. We are all electronically savy. Followed instructions to the T. It does not ever find the dock, cleans only in a circle. Ran for over an hour and did not map anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleaning

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. Cleans good, would be better to have two side edge brooms. Mapping is poor at best. Once the house is mapped trying to make separate rooms for cleaning is difficult. Maps are not accurate. You have to overextend the room to get it to clean the room. Also the unit appears to be lost occasionally. At one point I got a notification from it that it was lost and I had to put it back on the charging unit. Hate the idea that I have to use an app on my phone to run it.. If the internet isn't strong, I cannot vacuum. Should be a remote free from the internet. Cannot tell it to do individual rooms at different times and days of the week. I am single and the spare bath does not need cleaning as much as the living room.

It works great it's fantastic I use it every night and I already have it scheduled to run every night it empties and it does a really good job mopping too the only thing is finding directions on if something does go wrong you have to get on the internet instead of having the good old fashioned paper directions when it comes to you.

Works like a charm!

I have 3 dogs, two German Shepards and a cocker spaniel. My house is approximately 85% hard floors and 2500 sqft. We’ve had this robot for a couple weeks now and thus far it works 100% as advertised. It works so well that we’ve yet to use our vacuum cleaner since purchasing. On normal it cleans about 50% of house before returning to base to charge. A few hours later it picks up where it left off and finishes the job. We use it every day. The mop feature works great as well. It can do a large area on just one tank.
A couple things worth noting. 1) having 3 dogs, specially two GSP’s, the bin filled up in 1 week. This was expected as when we used our vacuum we would have to empty the canister 2 to 3 times per a vacuum. If anything, this further illustrates just how well this robot works. 2) we have had to clear the brush of hair that made the brush unable to rotate. The robot will actually tell you when this happens. Shark has made this process SUPER easy as it takes a short 1-2min to clean. Again this is something we would have to do with vacuum cleaner from time-to-time so not unexpected.
I HIGHLY recommend and in fact wonder what took me so long to buy it. Definitely a game changer on keeping your house clean.
