Impressed with the self-empty feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 Robot Self-Empty XL. The Robot can clean as well as mop, and both features worked well. This was great because I have both hardwood flooring, and carpet – so the entire house can be cleaned using one device. I also like that the Robot was quiet, and not too noisy. I shorten the cable cord by using the cord wrap at the back to make the vacuum look neat in my apartment. I love the self-emptying feature, which worked well and helped save time. The robot can be used with an app, and also manually which is very good since the app gave me some issues at first. I had to eventually change my email in order to get access. The other issue I encountered was the robot not locating the dock at times which can be a little frustrating. Sometimes it goes back to the dock easy, and sometimes (even when super close to the dock) cannot locate it. Other than those minor issues, the robot works great, and cleans well. I enjoyed using it, and absolutely love the self-empty feature.

I’ve had Bissell robot, and I’ve had iRobot 9i but my new Shark Ultra 2 in 1 robot blow’s those two out of the water!! This Ultra is SO MUCH quiter , coverages SO MUCH better and SO CHEAPER to own! Take it form me, you can’t get a better product than this! I’m so happy to find this sweeper….

We bought this a few weeks ago and love the vacuum and mop, it does a great job and our home looks and smells way cleaner all the time, we have three large dogs and it keeps the dog hair under control, would highly recommend this machine.

Best purchase I have ever made. With a chocolate lab running around daily, this has solved all of my problems. I just watch shark clean every other day and mop the off days. Absolutely love it, it has been 3 weeks of daily cleaning bliss. I have emptied the storage weekly due to all the dog hair, but I don’t have to, I am just curious. I used to have an early model low end robot that was a pain, this is so much more advanced and consistent- it doesn’t get stuck or leave marks on my white molding. If I can figure out how to use this, anyone can- I am not techy at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well after 6 phone calls to Shark. There are things they do not tell you to have this work efficiently. They should include this with the instructions instead of making it a guessing game

Spend your money elsewhere.

Have had this for almost a year and would suggest you don’t buy it. The machine randomly turns on (usually 1am) to do unscheduled tasks and just randomly roam the house. When you do ask it to do a task, good 60% of the time it will be a great experience, the other 40% it will go to a random room or mop over carpet even with no-go zones set. All this with latest firmware and latest app. If you research the web, this isn’t an isolated incident. If you’re going to drop this kind of money, maybe drop it somewhere else and avoid the frustration. On a positive note, it does vacuum well, especially on matrix clean, and does mop well, especially on matrix clean. But why can’t matrix clean be for the whole house? Or, at least add whole room matrix clean for the mopping function???
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
