Too tall!

I just bought the replace my last Shark self-empty robot vacuum and I'm so sad! The robot is over 5.5" tall where the old one was 4" or under. Now it doesn't fit under my dressers, couch, or the cabinet door I had specifically made for a 4" tall vacuum. I'm still considering returning. I would so much rather have the old mapping function than the lidar addition to the top. Also, it would be nice if shark robot vacuums came in white so I don't get black scuff marks on the wall next to the toilet.

A Hard Decision

I am choosing between this Shark Matrix Plus 2-in 1 HEPA Self Empty Base/No spot missed mapping technology,
and the reasonably priced 5000PA suction ability, and the pet hair cutting ability of the Eufy L60 and the
expensive EufyX10 Omni which has the self-cleaning heated- drying circular (thicker) Mop pads.
The Boosts of air blows the cornered hard to reach dust bunnies to be sucked right up, the the strong suction qual-
ity. along with the fact that I don't have to keep buying vacuum bags makes this a difficult decision

Gets lost, saved rooms disappear!

I really was hoping that it would be “smart”, it is one reason I chose this unit. It is slightly smarter than a brick. It gets lost when entering a room that has a partially open door, it pushes the door closed and then gets trapped behind it. I have to install wedges every time to stop it. You could close the door or fully open it, but you have to remember to do it every time. It can get high centered in a sloping chair or table leg, and that also damages the thin flap in the collection cover . When lost, it signals for help. If you are not around it just sits there and the battery goes dead. When that happens all the saved rooms, boundaries and no-go areas are LOST TOO, with NO way to get them back. The data should be saved in the dock or the Cloud so they can be restored.
My carpet is a traditional medium pile and the vac leaves “tank tracks” on it, they are very unsightly and odd looking. The vac doesn’t deep clean at all, even on Max, it leaves vast amounts trapped inside the pile, so it cannot replace regular vacuuming. I do like how it gets under beds and furniture, it keeps them pretty clean, but the hard use areas where people and pets go don’t get much more than a light “dust bunny” removal. I think it would be excellent for a home with hard floors everywhere. The mop feature is cool and works well, except that the dock must be located in the same room, or the robot tries to return to dock when finished with a wet pad and it gets stuck immediately, and soaks the carpet.
I will keep using this until it dies, then not get another robot vacuum. I am pretty disappointed overall. The unit itself is OK, the software sucks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this a month ago with the intention of using it for both vacuuming and mopping. However, I am disappointed because the vacuum does not reach under my furniture, and the mopping feature is not very effective. This is my second Shark robot vacuum; my first one was able to clean under every piece of furniture in my home and worked wonderfully. Despite these issues, I would still recommend it.

Best invention

It slides through the hardwood floor, climbs up and down the carpet, goes back to the charging station promptly for charging. Setting up the app is a breeze. Afterwards, the robot would go around the rooms to draw a map. It's so accurate. Then, we designated where not to go and where is the rooms. Setting up a cleaning schedule. Then, we can totally forget about cleaning. It just does the job as scheduled. The sucking is strong and we can always see big chunks of trash when empty the trash bin. We haven't tried the mopping feature yet but are already 100% satisfied with the device. Wish it could climb the stairs. LOL. We'll buy another one for the upstairs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is amazing. The app on your phone was super easy to setup. You can setup the shark to sweep everyday at certain time which we done. It's very efficient. We have 3 large dogs so we sweep daily. The shark makes it much easier, when it's done it docks itself and empties itself into the base. It will also mop the floor.
