Exceeded my expectations

We have this little vacuum set up to do about 2200sq ft out of our first floor and it tackles it in one charge at full blast. I didn't really see anything on my hardwood floors till the vacuum empty itself in the canister and wow all the things that it picked up. It does a good job around corners not perfect but good. The wet mop I had to refill 2 times for the Sq ft that it was mopping but it left the floors clean you could feel the difference. Overall this thing does an amazing job. Going to buy one for the upstairs!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love it, love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this robot for a few weeks now and I have to say that I am loving it. It saves me so much time, no more vacuuming and mopping! Since I am a perfectionist and neat freak I was kind of reticent about it removing debris from the edges and corners of the house, but I am really impressed, it did an awesome job at cleaning them! Apparently it uses blasts of air and corner recognition to clean the edges and corners! Awesome! I was also kind of curious about how well it would remove stubborn stains from the floors, I have a toddler and they can be reaaaaally messy! Apparently it scrubs floors 100x times per minutes! Again, it did an awesome job at removing those stains. I really like the fact that it is bagless, that it goes back to the base to empty itself and charge itself when needed and that I only have to empty the unit every 60 days. It also has a self-cleaning brush roll. Dry debris are captured in the dust bin while the fluid reservoir is used for hard floor sonic mopping. Great! The battery lasts a pretty decent amount of time and working with the app was really easy! This robot has been so convenient and useful for me! Recommend it to everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got the shark robot vac, I thought my dreams come true, they didn’t. I went through all the steps and setting up this pretty awesome little vacuum. From setting up the self empty base to downloading the app, mapping my rooms and starting to clean. I love the fact that you could set up carpeted areas and non carpeted areas, including areas that are restricted where the vacuum won’t go. The vacuuming function of this Shark is really good. The floors were super clean, and it was really nice that the robot vac empty itself. Unfortunately, my four star rating is because of the mopping function of this vacuum. No matter what I did. I cannot get it to mop the hardwood areas. So far I’ve spent over an hour trying to figure out how to get the mopping function to work on my hardwood. At this point I’m done looking, I’m done searching. I’m just going to use it as a vacuum. So if you’re looking for a really good vacuum, you definitely found it here but if you’re looking for a vacuum with a mopping function, in my opinion this is not it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice job but a little funny

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not totally convinced about this robot vacuum yet. This is my first Shark robot vacuum, my first robot vac in general, and I was very excited about this. Setup and configuration of the app was relatively painless. I’ve got it set up on a completely carpeted floor. It took about 25 to map the floor, and an hour to vacuum about 500 sq feet. I could have vacuumed this myself in about 7 minutes frankly. However, reaching under furniture, like under the bed, is a challenge. So kudos for that. It mapped the space correctly but I haven’t seen it take into account the areas I specified as “no go zones.” I had to rescue the bot from a potential “cliff,” stairs, which makes me wonder just how effective assigning no go zones is and how effective the AI technology is. The actual vacuuming was a bit louder than I had thought, on normal power mode, but it did a nice job overall. It was funny to see it totally disregard some low to the ground furniture legs of my sit stand desk, and try to vacuum steel furniture feet. I love the idea, but I’m not sure if this is a good fit for my upstairs space. It had some challenges with cables, and got stuck on a cable I had tucked away in advance and marked as a no go zone. I may move it to another floor, with mainly hard flooring. It picked up plenty of dust and pet fur, for sure, which is great. I’ll continue to use this robot vac for sure, and see how it goes. If I had to compare it to the effectiveness of a cordless stick vac, and choose one or the other, at this point I’d opt for the stick vac and just do the chore myself. I see the value for sure for folks with small spaces, no cliffs or stairs, and few cables. I do love the self empty feature for sure.

AMAZING!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this device - I name mine "Tiger" and we are using it in our basement. It works so well to keep the hardwood floors clear of dust and bugs that get into the cracks/crevices of the baseboards. I love that it has a self-empty container so we don't have to worry about emptying it with each use. I am able to use the app to set the schedule for when we want it to do its cycle which is SO great. It also has the mop option which is great for our hardwod floors. I would highly recommend this product to my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this Shark Al Ultra 2-in-1 robot. It has so many awesome features. I was happy there was no assembly, it came ready to go. You just have to set it up, charge it, and download the app. set up an account, Or you can use a voice feature. It is much better to use the app. It vacuums, does moping and cleans hard floors. It works great going in rows and missing anything in its way. It is very systematic and your floors look amazing. I love having the ability to schedule runs when I am not at home.
I am older and disabled and this is a lifesaver for me because I have trouble vacuuming and mopping. This is a durable well-made product and a good value.

I bought this because I hated paying the same price for a roomba that wouldn’t map. Thankfully this one never gets stuck which I enjoy. I bought the one with the self-emptying feature, but didn’t know that the feature would not work with the vac and mop bin. I also am bummed at the technical side of things. It’s impossible to search how to do things within the app like it leads you to believe you can. It didn’t come with great instructions in the app features, either. And although some have said you can, I still have yet to determine if the machine can map two levels. Machine is good, app technology is bad (or confusing).

Dual Clean does not work: see Shark support answer

I bought the Shark Matrix™ Plus 2-in-1 Self-Empty Robot Vacuum and Mop and the support team explained me that as my house has a carpet room (bedroom) between 2 non carpet (living room and bathroom) that the robot can not make it. That I have to manually put it in each area. It does not make any sense to me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
