I have had this unit for about three weeks. So I cannot review the long-term reliability. That being said, I have used it every day since receiving. It does and amazing job. Visually, it appears to do as well or better than my (Shark) upright. I turn it on via my phone right before going to bed. I have owned a roomba before.. probably not apples to apples comparison because that was about 6 years ago, however this unit does a much much better job. Without the self emptying feature, I probably would not have purchased another robot vacuum. This feature is a must have and it works very well. I have not used the mop feature yet but will soon! So far I highly recommend this unit.

I got Shnebly (my vacuum) about a month ago and I will say, it did a good job mapping the house and after getting clogged a few times in it's first cleaning it has been doing upkeep vacuuming very well. We have several animals at home so there is always fur in our house and Schnebly does well to pick it all up. Mopping however is kind of a pain, literally every step of the process is annoying including the cleaning itself. The cleaning solution is pretty good though. Also, the app could use some work.

Overall Great Vacuum

I have a Shark upright vacuum I have had for years that I really like because it does a great job picking up dog hair, dust, and debris. I had another robot vacuum and it was on it's last leg. I decided to buy another Shark. I love this shark robot. It maps the rooms and really gets the floors clean. There are two things I wish the development team could do:
1) Allow the rooms to be sized smaller than the current square. Hallways are not always square. Some areas are small that you want to be a no go zone but then it overlaps with a go zone.
2) Have the robot recognize dog poop 💩. I whole heartedly hoped I wouldn't have to clean this machine, but I did and it was 100 times worse than the last robot due to all the nooks and cranies, ridges, etc. I now have the robot clean only when I am home when I can make sure there isn't a mess to be run over and sucked into the machine and spread all over the house.

The LiDAR makes the initial mapping VERY fast, which is great but is really only useful the first time. After that, the vision isn’t all that useful and the obstacle detection leaves a lot to be desired. The CleanEdge air blower is great for getting dirt/dust/pet hair out of corners and under ledges where the vacuum can’t access. Unfortunately the “carpet verification” feature is way too finicky to set up, so I never even tried the mopping. The fact that it always charges for a set amount of time when the battery gets low means that the full cleaning cycle can take an INCREDIBLY long time from start to finish because it may charge for 3 hours part-way through cleaning, even if it doesn’t need a full charge to finish the job. I do like the bagless self-empty chamber because it means less waste and no requirement to continue buying additional extra pieces on a regular cadence.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have an OCD Dachshund that refuses to let me vacuum. In addition I am working full time and going to school. I purchased the 2 in 1 self cleaning so I could have it clean while we are sleeping. I’ll have to admit it works better than expected. The “edge clean” could be better, but other than that it cleans really well. The app does work, but it needs some improvements. The schedule feature doesn’t clean at the set times, it cleans at the times you actually set up the schedule in the app, and not the times you set the schedule for. The issue with this is if it cleans when my dog is up, my dog will harass it until it gives up and goes back to the base. To prevent this I just open the app and tell it to start cleaning after we go to bed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this vacuum a month back. The vacuum is great as per what can be expected by shark products. I do have a shark vacuum and hence thought of purchasing the robot vac-mop. It has some great features like-1) picks up dust and hair amazingly well. 2) Good mapping of the floor.3) mopping is as expected-good.4) Does not tangle into wires and small things like slippers or so and thats a really good features cause incase you forget to pick up small stuff, its not a hassle. 5) Charges quickly and cleans the house pretty quickly. I so wanted to keep the vacuum but it does have some issues. 1)The most important feature that would be convenient would be multifloor mapping, this shark lacks that. I so wish they had this feature. 2)makes noise when going through corners of furniture, a little noisy.3)The app need re logging in multiple times. 4) Mopping misses certain spots and does not go per map.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Constantly getting flashing green lights with red exclamation point. Having to cycle on and off.after it has been sitting in dock overnight. There is no blockage but has a loud squeal while on bare floors that is not noticeable when on carpet.

Not worth it!

I’ve had my robot combo for two weeks now, and I still can’t get it to mop the entire house. It half mops my master. I send it to mop my kitchen and it mops 1/4 of my living room floor. I have remapped the rugs and it acts as if I never marked the zone. It mops right over the rugs in some rooms. It doesn’t vacuum everything off rugs. I run it multiple times over the rug and it still doesn pick up everything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please can I recommend that you ensure you are connected to the latest version of the SharkClean app. Once, you are connected to the app you can complete an explore run. Running an explore run will have the robot map out your home and display this map in your app. When the robot is finished mapping your home you will be able to set up Carpet Zones from within the app. This will prevent your robot from mopping over carpets and rugs.
