"Jaws" is SO much better than the Roomba I had years ago... I works perfect, its quiet, its thorough. Well worth the money.

Dry vacuum is good, wet mopping is a streaky mess

The introduction of LiDar is a game changer on this unit. Mapping is a lot more precise, and the unit is not bumping into furniture and leaving marks. However, if you have marble or ceramic tile floors this is going to become your worst nightmare. How so? The mopping pads do not soak up all the water the unit puts out. You will notice wet streaky puddles and eventually those steaky puddles will dry on your floors. I have tried so many things, from re-reading the mopping instructions several times, only using SHARK approved cleaning solutions, pre-vacuuming the marble floor tiles with my Dyson (just making sure the floor is free from dirt or other debris) Only using Shark-approved cleaning pads and even running an additional mopping cycle after the first one. Well, it still leaves streaks and I end up having to use a steam mop to remove the dried-on streaks. I mean the concept is cool, and it may work well if you have natural wood floors where the extra water can be absorbed, but forget it if you have marble tile floors. The mopping function in my opinion leaves you with a bigger chore and you will have to spend more time getting out the streaks. I am at my wits end on this issue and I am not sure there is a solution or other than to find another dry/wet vac solution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the elderly

I am in the elderly class with poor eyesight and limited movement. I agree with everything Jessica 520 wrote in her Love/hate review. Now add the age 90 to that and setup plus use of this machine becomes a real hassle. After a week using many hours, I am relatively happy with the robot in my small house. The app could be useful if it were available on android tablets or even Windows but it isn't. You need Google or Apple or smart phones. I need a larger screen to do all the processes available in the app. Not possible in the tiny smartphone screen I use (Galaxy S23). So currently I'm looking for physical barriers instead of the app software barriers that are impossible for me to set up the way that is necessary. The instructions in the operating manual are very detailed but could be clearer in some cases. Nothing is perfect, right?

Great but needs work

The sweeping brush needs to be a dual or more brush. I watch it miss things from it only being a single brush. I’m sure this can be updated for this model. The app isn’t great for mapping or letting you know it’s going to continue cleaning, etc. I do like this but there are many options I wish it had.

Things I wish I knew

I wish I was told that my new shark would work better if.. I did a deep vacuuming (have a few pets and I'm unable to use a vacuum) with all the pet hair the shark picked-up I was having to go find it because the roller was stuck.
It would be nice if you click on shop that the parts that need to be replaced for the shark you have would be the first on the shopping sites
