I bought an earlier model similar to this one back in 2020 and I can only say wow about this new one. The older one was OK but got confused a lot and often couldn’t find TS way back to the dock. This one is so smart!! When it is time to return to the dock to empty mid clean, it stops and immediately heads directly to the dock and as soon as it empties it goes right back to where it left off. I empty the canister every couple of days and am amazed at how much cat hair it picks up. I hardly ever have to get my regular vacuum out any more.

I am 74 years old with a bad back, needless to say vacuuming and mopping were not favorite chores. Since I got the Shark AI 2in 1 my house gets vacuumed 4 times a week and mopped once a week. This is a great product, I haven't been this happy a purchase in years. The only problem I had was it would have been nice to have more written instructions. This is the reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5. I can't stop telling my friends about it.

Could be better!

The product generally works and does a fair job. I use both the vacuum and mop mode. It took some time to develop a reasonably accurate map. Also, for some reason, on days it is scheduled to complete the cleaning, it only seems to clean some of the assigned rooms and not other - I can't figure out why.
The battery is OK, but the device does need to return mid-clean as it can't do our entire area without recharging, and the area is only about 900 square feet.
My main complaint is the schedule only allows the entire mapped area to be cleansed each day. There is no way that I have identified to customize and designate certain rooms are cleaned on certain days, and other rooms are cleaned on other days.
It is still new, so I will likely get better at running the program and doing the operations. So, far I would overall say for the price it does a pretty good job. The programming could be improved to allow for customizing the scheduled cleaning on different days. Also, it should be easier make adjustments to the map - the device creates its own map and there does not seem to be a way to manually override the map. There is also no way to remove items that are not necessarily permanent furniture, such as a center table. Once the device determines it can't go somewhere, it doesn't go there, even if you move that item around a bit.

Love the mopping feature, still not sure of the self emptying feature, as it gets clogged and I have to clear it by hand has happened twice, clog was cat hair, I have 2 cats don't think this should happen?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE my robot! I never thought I needed one and now I don’t know what I would do without it! We have two dogs and this helps keep all the fur vacuumed up and much more manageable. The lines this leaves in the carpet are perfect and make my house look extra clean. This vacuum does all the work so I have more freedom to do other things. The only think I would change is I wish it was a bit quieter, but overall this is an amazing and intelligent robot and I’m extremely happy with it.

Great for pet hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a German Shepard who is constantly dropping hair and wanted to give this a try. I was pleasantly surprised how well this works at picking up her hair off of hard floor as well as carpet. I run mine everyday to keep up with her shedding and have to clean out the bin every couple days. I like that it’s self cleaning so I can just let it do its thing and come home to clean floors. The mopping function is an added bonus that I didn’t know I needed and now I’m so grateful for. My kitchen floor is spotless and it even gets the sticky stuff off the floor from my eight year old.

It has been doing a great job with keeping the dust and debris off of my wood floors. They also are very shiny from the mop settings. The setup was easy and the Shark has learn the floor plan in my house with ease. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.
