Not worth the aggravation.

I thought this would make my life easier and was I wrong! It cannot figure out where it is and I have had to remap my rooms multiple times. If I don't use it for a week, it cannot find itself. Then if I drop/re-add it, it cannot pair with my wi-fi. The roller is constantly clogging. It catches and gets stuck on the edges of area rugs. It misses large areas of floor in a room that should be simple to sweep. Do not waste your money on this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Factory does not care about the consumer!

Do not buy this product. I purchased this unit in 2023. It performed well, then started squawking Error Message: 6; bumper sensors failed. Factory would not permit me to buy the replacement sensors/POD to repair my unit's problem. The factor tried to force me to purchase a new unit, but offered a 30% discount, money I did not want to spend. I did not want a new unit. I wanted to repair my unit. Tough luck, said the factory. Shark, that is poor marketing. Because of your policy behavior, I will never buy a Shark Product again. Dyson will be my next purchase.

Mop Resivor cheaply made. Skip this buy

I used the mop part twice before it broke. Like a chunk of the plastic broke off when it bumped into my cabinet. I walked into my bathroom the robot was back on the charging device and there was a corner of the mop sitting on my floor. I went to go purchase another mop part so I can mop while im at work and its been out of stock.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am in love with my Shark Robot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I have wanted a robot vacuum. I have heard mixed reviews from friends regarding various brands, but after seeing this new Shark model, decided to try it out.
Long story short - I love it. I have already had it do 30 cleaning runs (over 10 hours of run time) and for the most part, they have been flawless. It is amazing to watch it map out your house and then navigate around cleaning it the floor. Once you have your house mapped, it is easy to set a schedule, create "no-go zones", and review the history. We have 2 large dogs. I have it run each evening and love coming downstairs in the morning in bare feet and feeling a clean floor beneath me and not seeing doghair "poofs" everywhere.
The mopping feature is always fantastic. It vacuums as it mops and does the same great job that it does in vacuum mode. You do need to swap some parts on it to switch to mop mode, but it is easy to do and the app let's you designate "carpet zones" that it will avoid while mopping. The self-empty feature is also great, as it allows the robot to keep cleaning without you needing to step in and empty it.
I have run into a few negatives. The app never seems to reflect the true battery level. This caused me some confusion when I was initially charging it. I have also noted several cleanings where the robot returned to the base to recharge, and then never went back to finish cleaning. When this happens, it typically has only missed one room, so it has not been a big deal.
Overall, I love it and highly recommend it!

It cleans up pet hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first robot vacuum and I’m in love! When you first open it, you have to download the app and choose a name for the vacuum. You then let it do some mapping of your house. It’s smart enough that it won’t go and fall off the stairs. We’ve been using it every day since we got it, and we like it for the most part.
We have 2 dogs that shed a lot, every day. I’d say it takes about 1.5 hours for it to clean 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living and dining room. Our home is a tri-level so we only have it cleaning the 2nd floor. It stays around an area for 15-20 minutes and it goes back and forth. It did have to go back to the dock twice to empty itself. The sound when it’s emptying itself is sooo loud. I wish there was a way for the suction/fan to be more quiet. While it’s cleaning and if there’s something in the way like my dog, it gets confused and will continue to try to “clean” the area until my dog moves away. It’s also really strong!! It’s pushed a couple boxes out of the way to clean the floor. I like that it cleans up quite a bit of dog hair, but I feel like for my house to be truly clean, it will need to clean multiple times a day before I can use it once a day. I do like the mapping, and I like that it’s smart enough to go over different areas, but I feel like it gets confused and will try to clean an area over and over and over. Maybe it feels it’s not clean enough so it keeps going back? But I’d say this is a great vacuum and comparing it to my friends vacuum, it’s working pretty well!

I've been using it several times a week. Both the sweeping and mopping are working well. It's awesome to not have that task on my shoulders. My niece and nephews can play on the floor without a bunch of fur and dirt everywhere.

My new best friend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is great! I work in a school and by the time I get home the very last thing I want to do is vacuum. In comes my new hero the new shark robot vacuum. The initial setup of getting everything put together and plugged in took just a few minutes. Then all you need to do is let your new best vacuum buddy find it's way around by exploring your house and creating a map of your surroundings. Once it has figured out where it can and cannot go it will return to the base and then empty out all the dust and debris into the reservoir. I love that you don't have to do *anything* right away. It will let you keep the dust and debris in the reservoir for quite a few cleanings. You better start thinking of new names for your new vacuum because it is soon to be your new friend.
