I bought the UHE-WM16 in Dec21 for the master bedroom. The white dust was annoying but we got ahead of it and the unit worked great. Last month, I cleaned it and left it out to dry. In putting it back together, it now leaks around the mid-section. Looks like a rubber seal might be missing - is that possible? The manual or online did not mention the seal or a replacement option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My new Homedics is so quiet. I love it. I put it on the 2nd setting and that lasts for 3 days before I have to refill the tank.

Poor Experience

I had been given a similar product as a gift. It failed during the wty period. I contacted Homedics and they sent out a replacement. That failed 7 mos later. When I contacted Homedics for a second time, all they were willing to do was send me out a coupon to put toward the cost of a 2nd replacement. As I told Monique in their Customer Svc Dept, that would not make me whole. She told me that was ALL she could do. In view of the fact that their product had failed twice and that I was, as a result, a very unhappy customer, I told her that it appeared that it was all she WANTED to do. Based on my experience, the reliability of Homedics products speaks for itself as does the company's callous/careless attitude toward their customers. I would not recommend patronizing this company and wasting time and money on their shoddy products.

Good Capacity, Love the Essential Oil Pads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This humidifier is a huge step up from my old one. I had previously had issues with some occasional gurgling sounds and it was a problem for small children in the night (monsters may gurgle, cannot confirm for certain), but this one is completely silent. It also runs a long time, it has a really large water capacity, about a gallon and a half, so we don't run dry overnight. It does shut off when it goes dry though.
It's been really helpful as we move into the fall season, with the furnace in use and the air being drier. The most unique feature of this is the ability to add essential oils to a pad and get the whole room smelling great. Overall a great humidifier, a big upgrade from any I've had.

Breathe Easier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this humidifier for a couple weeks and really think its helping us breathe better. Our furnace has been burning so the air tends to be more drying on our hair and skin. This is compact and easy to move. The tank is large and holds over a gallon of water. I like that it has a long run time and an automatic shut off for safety. The feature that I like the most is the warm mist kills bacteria while running so I feel like the air im breathing is cleaner. The nightlight comes in handy so your not tripping over it and the adjustable mist settings are convenient so you get just the right amount of mist needed. This humidifier is quite and easy to use and would definitely recommend to anyone .

Great Humidifier

We really like having the option to switch between the warm and cool most options depending on the weather, and we love that the warm mist option has the antimicrobial properties, which is important to us. Overall, the product works great and as expected.

Everything I wanted in a humidifier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well thought out design- I love that I can add my own essential oils and have extra pads for different scents. Tank holds a lot of water, so nice not to have to refill all the time! Easy to fill and carry tank, quiet operation. Also nice is the optional night light - if you don’t want a light, you don’t have to endure one. I like a dark quiet room at night, but it’s nice to have the option for those who want it. The dial to select most amount is easy to turn, and it’s nice to have infinite selection on that instead of a few preselected buttons to choose from. Highly recommend, 5 stars!
