This is my second HoMedics humidifier. The first one lasted about five years and also held less water than the new one (Total Comfort Ultrasonic ...). I've used it for a week or so. It is easier to use; the water-filling is simple, the carrying of the gallon and a half of water from sink to desired location is a bit "sticky", but nothing is perfect. It looks as if it can continue to do the job, in winter especially, for many years to come.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is so noisy. It worked fine for a while now, not so much now. It says whisper quiet on the box. The same thing happened last year, and it was replaced. Now, I can't get anyone to answer the consumer support line for the past week. Even sent online and email requests for assistance. It is only used during the winter months when the heat is on.

FIRST ONE WAS USED ALL LAST YEAR AND WE LOVED IT. Dropped it and had to buy another and so far so good. Quiet, lots of mist, looks nice and good features.

The machine runs all night, it's very quiet, and the demineralized ultrasonic feature really works. I find my need for decongestant medicine has dramatically declined over the past month.
