Worked one night, now won’t even turn on. Save your money and time and buy a different product.

Just a Humidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this nifty little humidifier thinking that I'd be able to use it as a diffuser because the description said that I could add essential oils. This is a great humidifier with all sorts of settings but it stinks as a diffuser. It has a tray where you can add oil to this little pad but you can't put the oil in the tank. Unfortunately, you can't smell the oil even when you use way more oil than suggested in the instructions. I'll keep this in the closet in the event that we need a humidifier someday but I won't be using it like I had hoped.

I love this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this humidifier! It's so dry in my bedroom and as I get older I seem to have more allergies, especially having pets. I have been using this at night for a week now and I am sleeping so much better! Very quiet running, great options for nightlight, auto timer and more!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mold/mildew problems

I bought 2 of these and no matter how often I clean and replace the water there is mold and mildew. There is not a way to take it apart enough to clean each of the components.

Reset cleaning light

I bought this in September 2020 and it has worked great until about a week ago. Cleaned the transducer and tried to reset the cleaning light and now it just stays red. How do I fix this or do I return for an exchange?

Garbage

I bought this tonight and was excited to try it. So far, nothing but frustrated. The demineralization cartridge doesn’t fit into the tank anywhere. “Just drop it in the tank”. The tank holds a cup of water at best so I don’t know where I’m supposed to “drop” it cuz I can’t close the thing with it anywhere. The color changing lights? Only one color is showing. Red. No instructions on how to change the colors. You’d think you push the color button but I’m getting on/off functionality so that’s not it. Oh and the lift and carry handle? That’s not lifting anything but the top because the two pieces are separate and don’t click or connect in any way so it’s useless. It’s garbage and going right back to the store.

We are sorry to hear of the issue you are having. The humidifier has a 0.5 gallon tank. To fill the white water tank, grasp tank handle and lift up from humidifier base. Turn the tank upside down—remove the tank cap by turning it counter-clockwise. Fill the water tank with clean, cool (not cold) water. We recommend using distilled water if you live in a hard water area. Please the demineralization cartridge inside the water tank. Replace the tank cap by turning clockwise until tight. Install the tank back on the base of the unit. The select a color for the nightlight, press the nightlight button to turn the nightlight on. The nightlight will continuously scroll through the 7 colors. Press the nightlight button to stop scrolling and park on your favorite color. Press the nightlight button again to turn the nightlight off. The white humidifier tank does not snap onto the base of the humidifier. This is to allow for easy tank removal for filling. No mist

We are sorry to hear this. Please remove the water tank from the base and turn the tank upside down. Press and release the spring loaded valve in the center of the tank cap (it looks like a button) about 15 - 20 times. Reseat the tank onto the base of the humidifier. Stopped working after one use.

This is a piece of junk, and the Homedics company should be ashamed. This product worked exactly once. Then the red light came on despite the tank being full, and it stopped producing mist. I reviewed the instruction manual, but it could not be fixed. I'm returning it. This product is a waste of my time and a waste of plastic. I recommend you purchase a different brand humidifier instead.
