Impossible to clean! Mold everywhere!

I have two of these humidifiers and I love the size and design. They are quiet and great for my kids‘ rooms. But they are absolutely impossible to clean. Despite using vinegar and washing regularly, there is still mold in places that you simply cannot get to. I have even broken out q-tips to help to no avail. Makes it seem like it is just pumping mold into the air. I do not recommend this product.

We are sorry to hear this. We recommend running a cycle of vinegar and water through the humidifier. Place a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water inside the water tanks and turn the humidifier on for about 30 minutes. You can then use a flexible bottle brush or pipe cleaners to help remove any residue. We recommend changing the demineralization cartridges in your humidifier every 30-40 fillings of the tank. If you continue to see a residue, you may want to use distilled water.

Stopped working

It stopped working after 1 week, it wouldn’t even power on anymore and I was using it for my son’s allergies. A waste of money and I am very disappointed

I purchased this a few weeks ago, read the instructions, cleaned it faithfully, and it stopped worked. I regret this purchase-waste of money.

Do Not Buy This

I bought this today as the back of my throat was feeling a bit scratchy. I filled the tank with cool water and put the demineralization pod inside after allowing it to soak for 10 minutes. The minute I plugged it in; RED LIGHT. I poured a little water out of the tank; RED LIGHT. Poured more water out of the tank; RED LIGHT. Everytime I removed the tank. I re-emptied the reservoir and cleaned the bulb with a q tip to make sure there was no water on it. I ended up shaking it; the small light turned blue and it produced steam for 3 seconds. I attempted to press the time button and it cut off on me and went back to red. Save your money and just get a Vick’s humidifier. Waste of my money.

We are sorry to hear this. We recommend trying to remove the water tank from the base and turn the tank upside down. Press and release the spring loaded valve in the center of the tank cap (it looks like a button) about 15 - 20 times. Reseat the tank onto the base of the humidifier. If this does not resolve the issue, please return the humidifier to the place of purchase.

Can not clean

Purchased this for my daughter. It is impossible to clean. The tank filled with mold in about 3 weeks despite rinsing with vinegar. You can not open the tank to scrub it out, can’t get a scrub brush into it and can’t see into it. I’m a microbiologist and I know how to keep things clean and sanitary, how a product was designed in a way that makes it impossible to clean that involves water is beyond me. Unsure if I can return it. Complete waste of money, too bad because I love the light and aroma therapy feature.

Manuel could be better and more informative

My Mom has this humidifier I am the one who cleans it, and fills it for her. As no way she would be able to unscrew the cap off of the water tank. The Manuel and the Diagram of the filter is very difficult to see. The Inside of the Tank might be free of Mold/ Mildew/ Bacteria. But the outside of the Tank that is another story. There is a white colored piece that has four Pillars on it and is hollowed out. Well it gets this pink residue on it which is very difficult to clean off. Or even get to with things like a Cotton Swab. I have a different brand that has a filter and a tank have zero problems with it. I am in Northeastern Ohio. It would be nice if you could take the white piece off the machine for easier cleaning. I do not even know the purpose of this white piece. Feels like it is only there to make sure the tank is on correctly.

Helped me!

I was having troubles sleeping and waking up with a dry nose and mouth. Bought this and for the first time in weeks I slept through the night. However, I cant seem to get the timer to work properly. I clicked the 8 hour timer, and when I woke up 10 hours later, it was still spraying and on. Did I do something wrong? The instructions dont have much on the 4, 8, 12 timer settings.
