I could not disagree with the previous reviewer more.
these fitness earbuds are the most comfortable earbuds and great sounding buds I have used . By Far!
they fit in my ears so well and they dont fall off when you run.
Battery life is long ,at least 5 hours if not more, and then the charging case charges the unit quickly too. Perhaps the other user had a bad unit, buy my experience of these are great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst user experience ever

The only pro to these is they stay in your ears, but that doesn't make up for how terrible the rest of the experience is.
First minor annoyance, the voice telling you about the settings is obnoxious. It also mutes the audio you want to listen to while it's talking. This could be overlooked except you hear the annoying voice far more often than you should, just rubbing in more pain.
You hear the voice more often than you should because instead of a physical button they use a touch sensor. This means that if you accidentally brush the earbud, you hit the button. Pop one out to talk to someone and hold it wrong, you hit the button. Lift it off the charger base, you hit the button. It's not a menu with changing functions, it's not running multiple apps, it's just one button on each earbud. Just use physical buttons, a lovely little momentary switch, maybe with a satisfying click so you get some feedback when you actually want to use the button instead of feeling around hoping you found the right spot with no tactile feedback? Please? It's even worse when trying for the multiple tap settings because there's no tactile feedback for being on the spot or for having hit the button.
And the sound settings, totally unnecessary. The device you're getting the audio from has equalizer settings. Awareness mode sounds nice in theory, but all it does is pipe static into your ears, when frankly, if you need to hear what's happening around you, you shouldn't have headphones in. Just rubs it in more how annoying that voice is when the settings you accidentally trigger due to poor button design choice are completely useless.
The charge base is also terrible. It's frustratingly difficult to open. It's small so there's not a lot of space to grip it, and it's smooth hard plastic with very little friction so it's difficult to grip with nothing on the bottom half. You pretty well have to shove a fingernail into the seam between the halves to pop it apart. There's a little gripper tab molded into the top half so clearly someone knew it was necessary... you couldn't have done that on the bottom too?
These earbuds could have been so nice to use. But they're not. I've been trying to get used to them for a couple months, and nothing's changed. They're still just as frustrating as when I first got them. I honestly prefer the cheap skullcandy earbuds that occasionally fall out of my ears when using them and don't always sit on the charger nicely. Why? The skullcandy case is easy to open, and the earbuds have real physical buttons on them so if they do fall out and I catch them, they don't change my audio settings while sitting in the palm of my hand, or if I'm brushing hair out of my face. The power on/off voice is nicer to listen to as well.

Absolute Garbage

This brand is overhyped by the internet and they probably filter their reviews because the experience I had with these earbuds are something else.
The plastic looks super cheap and it has always had random disconnect issues from the beginning. The indicator lights are confusing first of there are so many of them which is unnecessary and they lit up inconsistently not sure what message they are trying to relay. They do not turn off automatically once put back in the case. I had to manually turn them off or turn off bluetooth on my phone. I feel in general the contact between the earbuds and the base is poor. Sometimes when I put the earbud back it will blink a blue... or red light, again, it is inconsistent. When I take it out of the case one of them is irresponsive and I have to put it back and take it out again and somehow the second time worked.
Despite being fitness earbuds they often fall out while I lift. Could just be my anatomy but I tried all the tips it came with and they still do.
And now after 2 months of owning them the battery gave up it will not turn on at all after hours of charging.
Please just spend a little more money and invest in a good pair of wireless earphones. This brand is not worth its retail price. It feels like a $20 pair even worse.

Terrible user interface; would return if I could

I bought 'The Fitness Earbuds' in electric as the wireless headphones I had no longer held a charge, I was excited to try out Raycon as I had heard good things about them. Sadly, I was extremely disappointed with the product. While the sound quality is fine and the headphones fit fairly well, the user interface is terrible. Unlike other wireless headphones I've used, the earphones do not turn off when placed in the case. You need to manually turn them off. And in order to turn them off, you need to cycle through multiple settings before the headphones actually turn off. Nothing in the instruction manual is true to the product in regards to charging the case and headphones. The manual says that when the headphones are charging in the case, that the light on the headphones is red and the lights on the case should be green. The lights on the headphone don't light up when placed in the case and there are never green indicator lights on the charging case. It also says that while the case is plugged in charging that the lights on the charging case will be red, and that they will turn off when fully charged. The lights on the charger randomly go red when not plugged in, but I've only ever seen white lights light up when the case is plugged in. The right and left earphones don't always automatically connect when removed from the case; sometimes, only one of them connects and I have to manually turn on the other one. The headphones also randomly won't charge while in the case. I put the earphones in the case and left them for about an hour after hearing the 'low battery' warning. After an hour of them being in the case I took them out to try and immediately got the low battery indication again. I'm not sure if I received a defective pair or what but, I really don't like these headphones. I would try to return them but I ordered them online and can only return to the store in person which is not feasible where I live as no Best Buy stores are nearby. Overall, extremely disappointed by this product and would not recommend them to anyone.

Garbage sound

These are far too expensive for the sound quality produced. Had connection issues and just sounded quite terrible. Bought a pair of JBL on sale for half the price but double the quality 👌

My "love affair" with Raycon may be over
on October 17, 2022

I have been a fan of Raycon's earbuds for about 6 years now, having owned 4 different pairs, usually upgrading when the proverbial "latest and greatest" earbuds are released. However, I've become increasingly frustrated and annoyed with Raycon's advertising strategies recently, and in particular, I find myself very disappointed with my recent purchase of "The Fitness In-Ear" earbuds, to such a degree that I wish I hadn't bought them at all.
To explain: I have a pair of E55 Pro earbuds, an earlier make and model which I've thoroughly enjoyed since I bought them over a year ago - the sound quality is excellent and well worth the consistent challenge I had with getting them to stay in my ears. Recently, however, my E55 Pro earbuds have started to look very "worn", with the colour flaking off of them in several places, something that's never happened with the two earlier sets I had owned, and given that they've never seen hard use of any kind, I started to wonder about the quality of the hardware and if Raycon's manufacturing standards had fallen. I was even starting to consider other earbuds on the market, but then I got an advertising e-mail for the latest release, the Fitness In-Ear ear-buds, which promised better fit and better sound, They certainly made it sound like they were a definite improvement on my E55 Pros...ao I took the bait and bought them, only to discover (to my ears anyway) that:
- the sound is less dynamic with more treble and less bass, to such a degree that it actually seems to be a step backward in quality from the earlier pair I own, which had beautiful rich sound without any need to resort go equalizer adjustments. Along with the "volume" issue (below), this was a major disappointment.
- I have exactly the same issue as before getting them to stay in my ears, since the fit hasn't been improved at all as far as I can tell. Unfortunately, as with earlier purchases, the "fitting guide" leaves a lot to be desired, because aside from a few diagrams, it really doesn't "guide" you on the best way to fit the earbuds at all. Raycon definitely needs to improve this guide so that their customers get the best fit they can achieve because in my experience, the fit is absolutely integral to getting the best sound quality.
- the so-called "maximum volume" is much lower than with my earlier ear-buds, annoyingly so in fact, and when you DO reach it, there is now a vaguely irritated-sounding voice that admonishes you "Maximuim volume reached"...and unfortunately, whenever I've had to adjust the ear-buds in my ears because they're at risk of falling out, simply touching them causes that voice to repeat...several times...over and over if your fingers happen to contact the wrong surface. Suffice it to say that this is extremely irritating when working out, and is a major complaint I have about this latest model.
- finally, Raycon needs to do something about the model numbers it assigns to their products. Every new generation seems to have a different name and/or numbering standard, making it difficult to know whether or not you're buying an improvement on a model you already own. For example, the E55 Pros were released AFTER the E100's, and with the latest series, model numbers seem to have disappeared. Some kind of metric-based indicator needs to be used, since it seems that relying solely on Raycon's description of purported improvements doesn't help...at least not with my recent purchase.
In summary, if you're looking to upgrade from an earlier version with the latest Raycon releases, I'd save your money. I sure wish I had.
