Unreliable product

This toothbrush is unreliable. About 1 out of every 4 brushes, it will stop mid-brush, losing any accumulated brush data. I end up restarting it and letting it run off to the side until it finishes.
As a separate problem, about 1 out of ever 4 syncs with the app, the app will show no new brush data to sync. If I force-close the app and try again, then it syncs new brush data.
I would avoid this unless you want to deal with regular frustration when brushing your teeth.

Sonic Smart Brush

Initially i purchased the 360 brush but it wasn’t a smart toothbrush so I returned it & purchased the sonic brush.
The sonic brush is nice to log brushes but the 360 would’ve been a better brush with bluetooth to track.
So far no issues with the sonic brush aside from the sonic vibrations not actually moving bristles but the handle

Not worth it

I wanted to love this toothbrush. The design is very sleek and I like the idea of tracking my brushing habits; however, the battery is garbage. My first one wouldn’t hold a charge after the first month and the replacement has also died after about 8 months. For as much as these cost -remember we’re talking about a simple toothbrush- you’d think they would last a substantial length of time. Rather than go through the replacement process again, I’ll be buying from a different brand.

Question if buying Quip 4 convenience is worth it?

I like the Quip but have had a lot of trouble turning on with several different units. I’ve bought additional units because of that & have 4 subscriptions for grand children. I recently bought a smart unit, it worked great 3-4 days then stopped. I put motor in an older unit with a new AA battery & it’s working better. You reference a magnetic charger with no explanation how that works. Also it’s difficult pairing with I phone.
