Rewards for a good hygiene routine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using quip for years, but I was given the quip smart toothbrush from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. I’ve had my eye on this toothbrush for a while and it did not disappoint. Using the app is seamless and whenever I open it, it automatically syncs to my toothbrush (after setting it up, which is really simple)! My favorite thing is that you can get rewards for just taking good care of your teeth!! There are a number of rewards to choose from and I am a sucker for a reward! What a good idea to encourage good oral health and offer rewards for consistency!
Overall the toothbrush is great. I love that quip sends me replacement heads and batteries and I don’t have to think about when I need to replace them. The battery typically lasts me all the way until I receive my new toothbrush head. And I just really appreciate that I don’t have to think about when I need a new toothbrush head. One less thing for this busy mom to do!

The sleek brush that could and did

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest, I'm not one for electric toothbrushes but the Quip Smart-A Electric Toothbrush has seriously changed my mind. From it's sleek, non-bulky appearance to the ease of use and fun, rewarding app this toothbrush is 100 percent worth it. Perhaps most importantly, my teeth look and feel cleaner than just a manual toothbrush.
Let's start with the app - Easy to download and set up at the start and sinking is a breeze. I do wish it would explain why sometimes the numbers highlight red and it would show a graph visual of my brushing habits (rather than just a calendar of my brushing), but otherwise it's great!
The toothbrush has a clean, non-bulky appearance and fits easily and comfortably in my hand. It breaks down the brushing into 30 second increments (4 total for a total of 2 minutes of brushing) though if you aren't paying full attention, there's no way to tell what segment of brushing you are on. I do wish there was a light or something on the app that would help keep track of that. The vibrating silicon bristles are a nice touch that really work at massaging my gum line.
I have been using it for almost a month and haven't had any battery issues so I can speak to that but I'm looking forward to ordering new heads which will help me know more about the battery life.
This is a great electric toothbrush that is completely worth it. If you've hesitated to try an electric toothbrush, don't hesitate with getting this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried Quip twice now, both times I’ve been a bit dissatisfied with the overall toothbrush. It’s a beautiful design and feels nice in your hand but after a week of using it, my gums were incredibly sore (the silicon bristles just did not work for me) I also had a really tough time turning it off - the button is just in an odd spot that didn’t respond quickly.
It is really easy to set up, packaging is beautiful and I did like the travel tube - very cool! I just wish it worked better for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the Quip Smart-A Electric Toothbrush was a letdown. I did not feel as if my teeth and gums were any cleaner using this brush verses a manual brush. I have very sensitive gums and while this brush was gentle, I didn't feel that my gums were getting as clean as I'd hoped. I did think the app was fun. It didn't have an impact on my oral health schedule, but I think it would be great for younger kids that struggle with regular oral health. I thought the rewards were good. My daughters would definitely brush more often without a struggle if they were earning prizes. Setting up and getting started with the brush is super simple and fast. However, I was not impressed with the battery life. It needs to be charged often. I would not rely on this if i was traveling for this reason. For me, this product was a miss.

Great clean but hard to turn on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy brushing with the quip brush. My teeth always felt and looked clean. The size of the brush was nice. It is more like a manual toothbrush. Having the toothbrush tell me when to switch helped me brush evenly and get a full 2 minutes of brushing in. My one complaint is the on button was hard for me to push.
The quip app was pretty cool. I enjoyed seeing how much time spent on the top vs bottom. It helped me better evenly brush. Visually seeing how well I brush and having all greens was nice.
Setting up the brush was a breeze. It came ready to brush. I just needed to connect it to the app. Once I had my login setup connecting the brush was very simple. The app walked me through the process. The battery lasting a full three months was nice. Not having to worry about a charger when on vacation was an extra bonus.
Overall I like the brush a lot. It felt like it cleaned better than a manual brush.

Great product not great battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] first off I want to start by giving a big thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to review this product in exchange for my unbiased feedback. My overall impressions of the Quip Smart-A Electric Toothbrush were outstanding. It has great balance and feel, and definitely some that survived an accidental drop or two! After using the Quip Smart-A Electric Toothbrush my teeth felt very clean. Very similar to the after dentist cleaning feel. Using the app was a little annoying at first. But I have to admit watching my scores were informative and helpful. I liked the rewards system built into the app, but I dont like that an app is used for yet another component of my life. The setup was simple and straightforward. But, the battery life was not great. What I liked most about this toothbrush were really two things. Most importantly, the feel of my teeth after using it was outstanding. The second was the feel of the Quip Smart-A Electric Toothbrush, when using it. Slim yet substantial, and built well. I’m thinking about performance of this toothbrush went Manually brushing their just not even a comparison. I spent seven minutes, brushing my teeth manually to get the same result that it took the Quip Smart-A Electric Toothbrush to accomplish in 2.5 minutes!

Step up your brushing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re looking for something that is a step up from a manual toothbrush, this is for you. The soft bristles are very gentle on your teeth and gums. I love that you can swap out the heads and don’t have to replace the whole toothbrush. There is a sticky strip that I think is intended for you to be able to mount it on your mirror but it also comes with a stand which seems much more practical for my use. The case is a nice added bonus as I found this was a great toothbrush to throw in my travel kit. The brush is on a 2 minute timer and pulses every 30 seconds to help you make sure you get all the areas for the appropriate amount of time. The handle is easy to clean as I feel there aren’t as many smaller nooks and crannies to build up gunk like other electric toothbrushes I’ve used. I don’t think it’s as powerful as a rotating head but it definitely gets my teeth cleaner than when I use a regular manual toothbrush. I will continue to use this as my travel brush!

I adore my new pink Quip! I had my first one for at least 6-7 years now. It had just started to stutter occasionally. Also, no cavities. Winning all around!
