Almost excellent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Quip smart toothbrush in black metal from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Upon opening it seemed small at first, but once I started to use it I got used to the size of the bristles and the handle. And it seems to clean my teeth well, especially compared to a manual toothbrush. It does come with a mount for your toothbrush that you can put on your mirror and doesn’t cause any damage, but unfortunately it doesn’t like to stay stuck to my mirror and tends to fall off in the middle of the night.
The app is a nice touch and easy to get set up and synced with your toothbrush. But I do have problems with it signing me out and as a result it has been having trouble with syncing the brushing data. And while you can earn free replacements heads and other items for brushing your teeth, seems like it will take a while to get enough.
The built in timer in the toothbrush keeps me honest on cleaning all 4 sections of my teeth thoroughly and for the recommended 2 minutes. I also appreciate how quiet it is compared to other electronic toothbrushes. And so far I can’t complain about the battery life, but I do not like that it isn’t rechargeable. Overall I like the toothbrush and would consider another one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Quip Smart-A Electric Toothbrush in Black Metal through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I have been so pleased with my results! The Quip Smart-A Electric Toothbrush is super easy to set up and connect to my phone. The app is easy to use, and the incentives for good dental hygiene are a fun feature. I like being able to see when I've hit my brushing goals! The toothbrush is lightweight and comfortable to use. The bristles haven't frayed or shown obvious signs of wear after a month of use. I also love that the toothbrush comes with a holder that easily mounts to my bathroom mirror, saving counter space! The mount holds strongly while also being easy to remove and reposition. I like that I don't have to charge the toothbrush, and that the mirror-mount also doubles as a travel cover. My only complaint about the product is that the bluetooth range for syncing to the Quip app is very limited. I cannot synch my toothbrush to my phone while my phone is on my bedside charger and my toothbrush is in my en-suite bathroom, as it is out of range. I need to have my phone in the bathroom with me in order to sync. Overall, that is a small complaint for how good my teeth look and feel after a month of using the Quip Smart-A Electric Toothbrush in Black Metal.

Makes Brushing Teeth More Delightful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the sleek design of this toothbrush. The built-in timer is a great feature and the sonic cleaning made a huge difference for me. My teeth and gums really felt cleaner after the first time brushing! After about 2 weeks of brushing with this toothbrush I swear my teeth staining was lifted a shade lighter! (Coffee drinker here!) I will say that the first week I had gum sensitivity but I think it's because my old toothbrush wasn't doing as deep of a cleaning job. After a week the sensitivity resolved completely. My only small complaints are that the head of the toothbrush is more narrow that I like, I wish it were fuller. And I'm a messy brusher, so the metal handle gets slippery since there's no grip. (I know, I know...ridiculous complaints; they are super duper minor.)
Setting up and using the toothbrush was a breeze, and I am not a techie person AT ALL.The battery life has been great. The app is really well designed and easy to use and navigate. I personally don't find value in an app for brushing my teeth but some people may really enjoy utilizing it. I'm happy I found this toothbrush brand and will continue using!

Great toothbrush that does the job well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this electric toothbrush. It leaves my teeth feeling smooth and clean! Compared to a manual brush, it requires less effort and does a better job cleaning. The setup couldn’t be easier- just pop the batteries in and go!
I have not used the app very much, but I think it’s a great added feature. I didn’t have any issues connecting the toothbrush with my phone.

Great little electric toothbrush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quip Smart-A is a a great little electric toothbrush. I say "little" because it is the same size and shape as a traditional toothbrush. In fact, I wouldn't have know it was electric if it didn't have a button! That's a big plus to me because it's easy to travel with and if the battery dies before I replace it (it hasn't yet) I can jut use it as a manual toothbrush. I do wish that it either came with an additional travel cover or that the one I mounted on my mirror could come off for traveling. I do really like having it mounted to my mirror though - easy access and it declutters my counter. I'm thrilled to be done with cords running across the counter!
The set up was extremely easy - just open the box, push the button and brush! If you want to use the app, it's easy to install and follow the directions to connect the brush. I love that the app gives you coverage info so that you know how much time you spend on your top vs bottom teeth (apparently I need to spend more time on my bottoms!). It also automatically tracks when you use your brush so you can look back and see if you missed morning or night sessions. One improvement to the app I would like to see is access historic brushing data in terms of coverage, strokes, etc. Right now you can only see that info for the last brushing session (as far as I can tell).
I really like this toothbrush. Enough that I have switched from my old electric toothbrush to the Quip full time. It does a good job cleaning, has a handy app, doesn't take up counter space, and is easy to travel with. What more could you want?

So amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this toothbrush so much! I have never been able to find an electric toothbrush that seems to work for my teeth. My teeth are sensitive and a lot of toothbrushes leave my teeth feeling sore afterward. The electric motion on this toothbrush is subtle and the bristles are the perfect feel for my teeth. I have been using this toothbrush every day since I have received it and I have yet to change the battery. Further, my teeth feel more smooth than ever. The app adds a fun touch and I love how easy it is to shop for more brush heads (particularly the ease of the renewal program), etc. I really don’t see myself returning to my manual toothbrush, as this one has worked so well for me. I’m really grateful to have found this product!

Best Electric Toothbrush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Quip smart electric tooth brush is the best electric toothbrush I have ever used. My teeth feel and look so clean after every brush and I truly feel like it brushes my teeth better than any other tooth brush I have used. The tooth brush was very easy to set up with the Quip app and it is super easy to sync to your phone after every brush. I like being able to see how long I spend brushing my top and bottom teeth. There are also points you can earn based on brushing your teeth, using floss and mouth washing. The points can be used to put towards money off other quip equipment or a gift card. I sync my tooth brush every night in just about 5 seconds. The battery life of the tooth brush is amazing so far. I have been using it for about a month now and have not had to change the battery. My favorite thing about the quip electric tooth brush is how soft yet effective the vibrations are. I have very sensitive teeth and the quip has never hurt my teeth at all. The tooth brush pulsates for two minutes with a pause every 30 seconds which helps me to brush longer as well as change the position of my tooth brush to cover every tooth. I do not think I will ever be able to use a manual tooth brush again. The quip electric tooth brush makes brushing your teeth so easy and effortless.

Love this toothbrush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I opened the package, I was impressed! Previous battery powered toothbrushes that I’ve owned have been heavy and bulky. Not the case with this one! The toothbrush is very lightweight and thin. The packaging itself was fun as well. I love that it comes with its own carrying case! The bristles were soft on my gums and left my teeth feeling clean every time.
The app was a huge bonus for me. It was very easy to set up and use. I love that I can get rewards just for brushing my teeth. The toothbrush has an automatic shutoff timer for two minutes, with pulses every 30 seconds to let you know how long you’ve been brushing. I quickly realized that I had not previously been brushing my teeth for long enough. With the reward system on the app set up to only count a brushing session if it’s done for the full two minutes, I can honestly say that this toothbrush has greatly improved how I brush my teeth!
My favorite part of this toothbrush definitely is the app. I haven’t had it long enough to earn any rewards yet but I am on my way there! I definitely find myself brushing my teeth more frequently and for a longer duration than when I was using a manual toothbrush. Highly recommend this product, especially if you enjoy a reward system to help you improve your habits!
