Died after a few months- wouldn’t recommend
on July 16, 2022

My toothbrush was great when I first got it, however a few months ago it began to pulse and not vibrate during brushing. I tried replacing batteries and other small fixes but figured the motor was dead and bought a new one.
After less than a week with the new motor it also began to pulse and not vibrate making it impossible to brush. Can’t see why a brand new motor would also not work? Also can’t seem to get any tech or support from Quipp.

Very Poor Brush Non-Vibrating Head/Bristles
on July 25, 2022
Posted by: Adam G.
This toothbrush is basically a manual toothbrush with a vibrating handle. The head/bristles barely move. In order to get a thorough clean you have to use it like a standard manual toothbrush. Which confuses me as to why the handle and not the head of the toothbrush vibrates. It does feel a bit like false in advertising and very a disappointing product.

Great for about a month
on July 29, 2022

I got this toothbrush for the same reasons you probably will: nice slim design, cordless. Say goodbye to that clunky bulky old electric brush right? It works great in theory, but the design is really cheap. In order for the smart brush to sync, the app must be open. And when you change the battery, or smart motor, it probably will never sync again. So say goodbye to sixty bucks.
It's a nice sleek electric toothbrush with a single triple A battery inside and it will probably last you all of three months if you're hoping to keep the "smart" function. Good luck. Three stars so you could see my review, two stars in my honest feedback.

Toothbrush vibrations do NOTHING to clean your teeth...
on July 30, 2022

Although the design is great and the subscription service is well done, the smart toothbrush is very disappointing. The vibrations are useless and are only good for telling you to move to the next quadrant. The rubber bristles only get in the way of the thin bristles and are completely unnecessary. I have to use manual brush brushing motions to get any kind of decent clean. I really like the toothpaste though...

Sleek, simple, but effective!
on August 12, 2022

Quip is the same as any other electric toothbrush except that it isn't ugly as..an electric toothbrush. It's simple in feign, but pleasing. Even comes with a built in travel case! It functions just as well as a regular electric toothbrush as well, in that its most important feature is the timer. 2 minutes to brush your teeth, in quadrants. Also, being battery operated you don't have to worry about plugging it in and having extra cords going everywhere.
And the toothpaste, surprisingly, is amazing. Not sure why, we just enjoy the way it makes out mouths feel.

Battery doesn’t work
on August 15, 2022
Posted by: Jillian D.
I really wanted to love this product after all the reviews I had read, but unfortunately when I took it out of the box and used it for the first time it turned off after 3 seconds. I figured the battery may have needed to be replaced, so I bought new batteries and replaced it but still had the same result. Very disappointed.

Did not provide a good clean
on September 5, 2022

I really wanted to like this toothbrush and even tried it for a whole year, but I had to let it go. I noticed that my teeth were never left actually clean, food would still be stuck on my teeth, between my teeth, and in my gum line. I felt like my dental floss was working over time to take off debris that the tooth brush should have taken off. I bought an Oral B toothbrush that spins and used it on the lower setting and afterwards saw that my teeth were actually clean and all the debris the Quip failed to clear had been cleaned off. My dental floss didn't have to work as hard to clean the actual tooth, just the in between areas. This toothbrush is just too gentle, too gentle that it leaves you with debris that can than turn to tartar and do more harm than good in the long run. I only use it now when traveling, but will stick to Oral B for my everyday good clean.
