I traded the iPhone 17 pro max for the iPhone air. The weight of the pro max was killing my carpal tunnel. I was concerned about battery life but it delivers. I don’t notice the short-comings at all

We appreciate the time you taking to share your experience with us. We’re happy to hear you’re enjoying the ultra-lightweight design of your new iPhone Air. At just 165 grams, it really is designed to be the thinnest and most portable iPhone ever! However, we're sorry to hear that you're having issues with the iPhone's battery life.
The iPhone Air was designed to be ultra‑thin and lightweight, which does mean a smaller battery capacity than what you might find in larger models like the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
To help boost your battery life, please complete these few basic steps:
-Check for and install any available software updates. -Review Battery Usage in Settings to see which apps are using the most power. -Reduce screen brightness. -Disable background app refresh for nonessential apps.

Also, we highly recommend checking the iPhone User Guide to learn more about your phone, its features, and how to maximize it:
This is the iPhone you want when you want a middle ground between the standard model and the pro version. I’m just a midwestern dad and don’t need the pro. I didn’t like the look of the standard model either and decided to try this new one, the Air.
It’s light and thin, just what you’d expect from the air product line. The camera is new and shaped a little different, but I’ve hated the lobsided cameras since the 12 or so.
Finally this phone came in gold and I haven’t had a good iPhone in a while. I really didn’t like the colors of the pro or the standard model either.

Here are a few quick steps that may help improve performance:
-Restart the device: clears temporary issues that may drain power. -Check battery health: low health can cause rapid drain. -Disable background activity: reduces unnecessary power use.
