Saves clean up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t know I needed this lid until I had it! Apparently I’m a messy cook, but no more with this attachment. Pour ingredients in and there is no splash back or that wave of flour smoke! Perfect for the little helpers in the kitchen as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok I was making sausage ball and it was very thick. And coming out the top of the bowl. Then I just snapped on the lid and started feeding it’s little at a time worked perfectly. Best thing ever for my mixer

Makes mixing a breeze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No more flour or powdered sugar everywhere. I love this shield. You just pour or spoon your ingredients directly into it. I don’t have to lower my bowl or anything so that also saves me time. This plastic is perfectly clear to see what you are doing as well as sturdy and strong. The little rubber clips hook to the bowl perfectly. I find that this also makes the mixer even quieter. This is a must for any mixer owner.

It has an awesome design that helps keep my table clean due to it shielding any splatter from my food ingredients. Plus, the slopped design allow for much better mixing of my ingredients. It is well made and a good quality. It should last a very very long time.

Great attachment for your mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this and it's the perfect attachment for my mixing bowl! When making batter it guides the pour where you want it and then when you're actively mixing it will keep any splatter in the bowl and not on my walls! I highly recommend this to anyone who makes anything like batter or frosting!

It really fits well too. I could probably leave it attached all the time, and I may do that. A great product to have with all my Christmas baking I'm doing.

Measure your bowl!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes that the KitchenAid Secure Fit Pouring Shield would fit my older model KitchenAid mixer but it is a little too big. My model (KG25H7X) is a lift stand with a 5 quart metal bowl. However, the diameter of the top of my bowl is 8.5 inches (measured from outer edges) and it appears this attachment is over 9 inches wide. It will still sit on my bowl and allow me to pour in ingredients from the side which is wonderful but the tabs don’t “snap” in and therefore it isn’t a “secure fit.” It is nice that it is dishwasher safe (top rack).

Sturdy and very useful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first held the shield, it felt like a sturdy product that won’t break easily. I easily attached it to my bowl and it fit well. I was making profiteroles, so I had to pour my eggs into the batter, and I can say that the shield prevented the eggs from flying everywhere. That certainly increased my confidence! I like the design and quality of the product.
